Then you got the Xverse report with a suppose Gambit appearance which means maybe Ratner wanted someone who was more experienced, so I'm sure Billy isn't pulling our collective leg.

Right, which is why I said he's lying to somebody. There's always the possibility that he is in the film and is right now scared sh|tless that he might get in trouble for letting it slip (but I doubt this is the scenario).

I want a part in X3 too. In fact in drama one day, I played Cyclops. Although I don't look anything like him. Lol. But it was a comedy sketch that was practice from our teacher who is a big X-Fan. It was the X-Men On Vacation. Haha.

It's stretching quite a big if he got the role..and lying to us that he didn't. I think we have to take his comments for face value.

If he got the role, then good for him. He must of had that "IT" factor.

You're right. I just re-checked his post at the school's page and there's no date. Maybe the guy did think at one point that he was in but that fell through and he just didn't post a follow up.
Now I feel bad for claiming he was lying and not considering there was another option.

yeah, with his e-mail, it sounded like he audtioned A LONG TIME AGO but didn't get it. That's what I got from it anyway. Like what I said before, with the role itself, he probably doesn't know what's going on. He's just an average guy like you and me.

I'm sure he hasn't kept in contact with the casting directors since then, ya know. So i'm doubting that he knows anything else..

This reminds me when that Scott Medek (Spelling) was rumored to be Gambit. He got a lot of attention for it until he debunked it on his OFFICIAL website. Scott milked it for what it's worth...

Ok people, as it has been stated already, there is no privacy in this day and age of information. Had I been aware of this thread, indeed this board, I would have spoken up earlier instead of entering the conversation and speculation so late in the game. There's a reason why finding anything at all about Billy is so hard, he doesn't go by that name anymore, not publicly anyway.
Now, I would like to know how it was that someone was able to find those recent pictures of me and link them to that stupid post on the ISS forum. First of all, I did not write that post, although come to think of it, I might know who did. There was only one other person who really knew that I had been talked to about that part, and it was only breifly, back in 2000. It was at a modeling competition and someone who claimed to be involved with the X-Men movies had spoken with me about playing the part of Gambit. After a long while of silence afterwards I figured it was nixed. while it would make me happy as hell to play everyone's favorite card-weilding Cajun, I just don't think it's going to be happening, much to my dismay. Currently I'm working on my modeling, but I do try to keep up with gossip. Odd that I would miss this peice though.
anyway, hope that cleared things up for some of ya'll, sorry if it caused more drama then it was worth. I'll take care of the unruly poster writing crap with my name on it, that sort of stuff tends to piss me off just a wee bit. ;-) Take care ya'll, and for he/she who posted the begining of the thread, thank you for not posting my e-mail addy, while it wouldn't have really been a big deal, I would have rather been asked permission first. Same goes for the pics, by the way. I know where those were gotten from, my MySpace. Now, who was it that linked the two names, out of curiosity?
