I just bought a song from them. What the hell is with the WMA files? Why not MP3!!!!:cmad:

That's why you should illegally download. :o

You are joking, but you are kind of right. This is bull sh**!

mp3 format has been copyrighted basically, so in order to use it in those download/buy sites they would have to pay the original developer of the mp3 format. and who wants to do that?

Does anyone know a good Audio transfer program? I want to put these bad boys in Mp3.

Ok... is there a good Mp3 (buying) downloading site that?

Dude, I have been "downloading" music for a long time, & I just want to do it legit now. What is so wrong with that?

umm you could use windows media player. i used that for a while untill
i discovered limewire.

but the problem was when they were put in my mp3, you cant forward or rewind them. but i didnt mind.

and how about itunes??

try music morpher. It's used for making remixes and stuff, but you can get a version without as many abilities for free, and I've used it numerous times to convert fiiles into MP3. Just don't choose any sound alterations, go to morph and choose audio format MP3.

When people complain about the quality, the only thing I can say is that I can't hear a difference, because I've been listening to music so loud for so long now.

I'm kind of pissed about that.

Same here. I think I am partially def. Where can I get Morph at?

Uhm, everything is wrong with that.

Ok thats it. You are satan. You are trying to get me to keep doing evil things. Gone with you evil one!

That's what you get for using a suck-ass music service like Urge.

Evil? I'm not the one making you pay for songs that you can "share" with your friends, just the same way you can lend someone your favorite album.

Well then guide me oh great Jag. Where shall I venture to legally to obtain music?

The iTunes Music Store can't be beat for legal music purchases, IMHO. They have the largest online selection and are fairly priced. It's easy enough to convert their DRM'd files to CD or even non-DRM with a few tricks. They're even selling DRM free music from EMI at higher bit rates. They're the third largest music retailer in the world behind Wal-Mart and Best Buy (and they don't even have a physical store like those companies do).

Alright. I will try them then. I just hate Steve Jobs.

Hey, if you want to deprive yourself of an excellent consumer experience that will give you what you're looking for just because you have an irrational hate for some company CEO that you've never met, be my guest.

But he treated his workers like slaves, & tore apart apple with the Mac V.S. Apple debacle. I am just saying he seems to be a *****e.

You sound like Charles from Penny Arcade lol

Mac vs. Apple? WTF are you talking about? Yeah, he's got a reputation for being difficult to work for at times, but he doesn't treat his workers like slaves. (I have a lot of friends who work for Apple, some for 20 years. They've said he can be an a-hole, but he does treat his employees well. He just gave everyone who works for Apple a free 8G iPhone...sounds like quite a slavedriver). The reality is that most CEO's have giant egos and drive towards what they want. If you hate Jobs for his business tactics, then you'd have to absolutely LOATHE Bill Gates who has employed a lot of anti-competitive tactics, monopolistic tendencies, copyright violations and underhanded approaches to building Microsoft. Or Carly Fiorina who used to head HP. Or Larry Ellison from Oracle. The list of *****ebag CEO's is a mile long and then some.
