URGENT!!! File dissappeared!

Please someone help! I had a comic creator file (cbcx) that has completely vanished. I've been working on this comic for two years now. I was just using it this morning even. I never deleted it. It's not in the recycling bin. It's nowhere!

I found it in the "recent documents" and when I click to open it, it says it can't be found. What happened?

I'm going to have a breakdown if I can't find this file. I've worked too hard on it to have it up and vanish on me!

did you try going back a day or two in restore points?

You've been working on it for 2 years and have no backups?!


Anyway, try doing a search for the file name. You could have accidentally dragged it into another folder or something.

Yeah. No luck with restores or searches.

I used to have a backup on a thumb drive but I wiped that one clean for another project I was working on a few weeks back. I never replaced it.

I'm doing a sweep with Undelete PLUS right now (but I never actually deleted it so I'm wondering if that will do any good). Comic Creator has been glitch-laden lately (pretty much the norm for that program), but I've never had any books vanish on me before.

Of course, all of the other test books and scrapped projects are still there - just not the one that I actually care about.

Undelete couldn't find it either (not surprising to me because I didn't delete it).
