Not sure if this is the right place to put this but I might as well try.

I bought a couple of games online from Gamestop a few days ago. It was shipped March 23rd and says it was delivered March 25 at 5:57pm on the USPS website. I was home at the time it was supposedly delivered. I don't think that really matters because I've ordered from there before and it always gets put in the mailbox. I'm just worried that it might have gotten lost or something because the status on on the website says it's delivered, but i don't have it.

Has this happened to anyone before? Could the tracking info be wrong or maybe it's just at a local post office?

Here's the tracking number to see for yourself:
9101 9619 5272 8151 6169 85

BTW I chose USA Value shipping and according to Gamestop's site it would take 5-10 for delivery. But I'm just really confused because USPS says it was already delivered.

Axls,

Check with neighbors? If not, then I would call up GameStop and see what is going on.

I use Amazon.com & I haven't had a lost package yet. Maybe you gave them the wrong address or the shipping company that you chose to use isn't as reliable as they claim, they don't even have a website. Were the games used or new, what is Gamestop's replacement policy on lost merchandise?

I was home at the time it was "delivered" so that wouldn't help.

I've ordered games tons of times from Gamestop and they always use USPS to ship their games. This is the first time i've had a problem.

And they do have a website, http://www.usps.com/

Yes I know that the USPS has a website, I just thought USA Value shipping was a company of its own that handled packages & would of had a website but it was just a shipping preference instead of a shipping company.

Axls, the USPS could have easily delivered your package to the wrong house regardless of the address being correct on the box. It happened to me recently. The neighbor four doors down was given my package and I got it from them. You need to call GS and tell them you never received your games and go from there.

Yeah, I might have to do that. I'll probably wait a few more days until I call it in, just to be sure.

Thanks for the help.

Yeah, I sent an e-mail to gamstop yesterday. They replied back today and told me to wait the full 5-10 days for delivery and they also told me that USPS doesn't let them claim a package missing until after 21 days.

But today I checked the USPS tracking site and it says my games were 'undeliverable', and that it's being returned. So I guess Gamestop will have to re-send it.

I'm actually happier knowing this. At least i know it wasn't stolen or lost.

Okay, I got another question. Gamestop sent me another e-mail that says this:

We show that your package has been routed back to us at this time.

A refund request will be issued by our warehouse for your order # xxxxxxxxxxxx7987 within 3-5 business days upon return of the package.

You may review the status of your return with the tracking information that you were provided when your order was originally shipped.
(USPS orders may be exempt from any tracking information)

This means that they're going to send it back to me right? I don't know what they mean by a 'refund request ' but the second part of what they said makes me think they're going to resend it to me.

Refund request to me sounds like the order was cancelled. Something got screwed up and now you're getting screwed. Maybe you can make a complaint and get a little somethin' somethin' out of the situation.

Well I finally got a straight answer from Gamestop. They're gonna give me a full refund once they receive the games.

I've had this happen to me one time before, ordering from Amazon. The status said 'delivered', but i didn't get anything. I complained to Amazon, but they told me they couldn't do anything since the status said 'delivered'. From their point of view, less than honest people might pull this to get a second set of whatever they purchased, so i couldn't really get mad at Amazon. The fact that GS is giving you a full refund is pretty cool of them.....
