A cool part is when the black resistance alien told the mechanic alien he was getting married the mechanic questioned if he really cared about her.

Seems even the resistance aliens see humans as cattle to some extent.

It's interesting figuring out what the resistance aliens motivation for deserting the collective.

I usually don't have a thing for tall ladies but Elizabeth Mitchell is very attractive but I find her stare in this promo pic rather creepy.

Those blue eyes are staring into my soul.

That was a good second episode. Glad they slowed the resistance stuff down a bit. The V's obviously know who the heck she is now so how they keep the show(FBI job) as is or change it so quick will be interesting.

Odds are extremely stacked against the resistance. They can't get any traction. Even with aliens willing to help them.

I still can't get past the fact that the reptilians are having sex with humans. It's the least believable part of the show. :o

According to the article below, Lizards are supposed to have 2 penises. I don't know how many penises the V Lizard's on the show have but it is not so unbelievable that a male humanoid lizard wouldn't be able to have sex with a female human.

Science: Why two penises are so much better than one

Male lizards and snakes have to make a choice when they mate: which penis should they use? They have two. One is connected to their right testis, and one to their left. Now two biologists from the US have found that some lizards alternate their penises as each is depleted of sperm. In this way, they maximise their chance of fertilising a female.

Richard Torkaz and Joseph Slowinski of Miami University studied the lizard Anolis carolinensis. They found that the penis a lizard used depended on which they used last time they mated, and how long ago they last used it (Animal Behaviour, vol 40, p 374).

Torkaz and Slowinski believe that such behaviour can be explained by 'sperm competition'. Recently, zoologists have realised that competition for a female's favour does not simply involve fights among males or displays of bright plumage; it can continue inside the female's reproductive tract ...

A decent second episode. I still think its moving too fast. However, I'm getting more used to Anna. Morena Baccarin can pull off this alien vibe very well, but she's still not better than my Diana.

Still hoping they mention that the Visitors have a cooler touch than humans, but perhaps their synthetic skin takes care of that issue.

Anyone got the ratings for the second episode?

http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/11/abc-v-ratings-second-episode-.html

The second "V" hour was seen by 10.6 million viewers and drew a 3.7 preliminary rating among adults 18-49, down 29% from last week. That's the largest fall from a premiere we've seen for a scripted show this season.

Still very good at 10.6 million. I think the drop was more about the "iffy-ness" that the rushed premiere gave. I think this second episode did more than enough to draw people back in. Once word-of-mouth comes around that the "rush" was just for the premier, I have a feeling that the show will stabilize with decent ratings.

I seen this latino guy on ebaums world that had two. It was very unsettling. Especially after seeing him pee on a wall and there were 2 streams.

I wouldn't know I'm 5'7" 1/2 I've never dated any girl taller than me but I wouldn't want a girl with bigger feet than mine. :oldrazz:

Yea cause you know what they say about women with big feet
they have abnormally large clitorati

I want to like this show but it bugs the hell out of me that nobody asked "Hey, if you guys evolved on a different planet, how the **** do you look like humans?" Instead we got..."Are ALL V's as attractive as you? ;)" I weep for humanity when it's taken as a given that all intelligent life in the Universe looks like we do a la Star Trek.

Eeer. I believe it was asked, it was just dismissed instantly in an off hand manner. It went something like (really rough paraphrasing):

"Hey, it doesn't make any sense to our scientists that you guys look like us."
"Well, it makes sense to us... next question."

I just don't get why sci-fi always has a hard time holding onto ratings. sigh

Id venture some guesses....in this era of what I call "non-commital TV", it does require that people follow...its not just a show you can jump in to any week you want

sci-fi still has quite the stigma in society, lots of people out there still think sci-fi is "just for the nerds"

Every show Morena gets cast in ends up being cancelled.

It's a bad time for Whedon alumi unless you're Boreanaz.

Seth Green has been steadily working (movies, Family Guy, Robot Chicken) for the past few years and Alyson Hannigan is in the fifth season of one of CBS most popular sitcoms

I think it's a matter of picking the right projects
