Sequels venom in the amazing spiderman

I agree. I like Aaron Paul as Venom. Another option would be Michael Pitt. If he's Johnny Storm it won't work, but Michael B Jordan would be cool too. Liam Hemsworth would be an option as well. Oooor, we could always go the DC route and cast Michael Cera as Venom.:funny:

lol The Game as Eddie Brock? No, just no.
Venom should be based on Bagley's Venom

or McFarlane's.
Not sure who should portray him. I'm fine with Tom Hardy though.

This man right here gets it

Aaron Paul should've been Electro. Not Jamie Foxx.

I just want Aaron Paul in a Spider-Man movie in the future, it's all I ask.

I think Tom Hardy would have been a really good Eddie Brock/Venom, but I somehow doubt he would be interested.

They should use 616 Eddie Brock and give him the symbiote from the USM universe. The best of both worlds.

Hardy... man, he could pull off Brock's creepiness well, but I'd rather see a taller actor play Venom. Hardy is my pick to play Daken in an X-Force movie though.

There's no guarantee that Venom will even be in Amazing Spider-Man 3. And if he does appear I doubt they'll try to cram everything into one movie again.

Two points that should be obvious after the Blowpher debacle is:

The character should be 616 Eddie with no hints of the Ultimate Eddie, and certainly not Gargan or Flash.

The actor needs to be a competent one who is intimidating at first sight. The way for Venom to work on screen is prolonged intimidation of Peter, both psychologically and physically, so the final confrontation with Spidey is nasty and personal.

I think Spiderman would be a perfect film for Aaron Paul but not Venom I would like to see Michael C Hall take up that role think he could really make it is own.

Actually now that you mention Hall, I think he'd make for a great Carnage. After Dexter we know he can do creepy and crazy, he's also a spitting image of the comics kassidy.
I think aaron paul could be venom I see him as dark, brooding, and a little broken obviously he'd have plenty of ultimate influence. Also has the potential to carry a Venom movie as a reluctant hero. Paul is definitely my 2nd pick right behind Hardy.

There's a viral site where Brock writes an article for the Bugle that was posted recently. So I think it's safe to assume that they're going to do it properly.

Venom. Lethal Protector. Not Gargan Venom. Not Agent Venom. NOT this one:

I find that really hard to believe. What makes you say that?

I've been around here long enough to see that he was popular pick for Venom before he was cast as bane. After his performance as Bane and Tommy from the Warrior I think it really helped cement it. I know before he was cast as bane he was my favorite choice for either Venom or Lex Luthor (before we didnt know if he would be in MoS or not).

But believe what you will, I need not further explain myself.

you didn't really explain yourself to begin with seeing as how warrior was a year before dkr

Sam Witwer would make a good Eddie Brock.

Aaron Paul resembles the Ultimate Brock.

If they went for the bulky bodybuilder Eddie Brock, I would suggest Dwayne Johnson.

Please, just give us the REAL Venom, not some pitiful weakling like the one from SM3 which I would prefer to forget about. He was nothing comparable to what I remember from the comic books. He is supposed to be huge, gross, speaking about himself in first person plural and extremely powerful. Above all, make sure that his story and development are sufficient because Eddie Brock from SM3 felt as if he was forced to be there. Venom without convincing origin can't be a success. It's the one of his strongest aspects.
