Verne Troyer attacks Celtics Paul Pierce for calling him "Mini-Me"

The video is good. Verne actually handled it with some class and style. I can imagine he got tired as hell of people calling him "Mini-Me", so good for him for saying something to people who do it.

To be fair, there is a price to be paid for appearing in two insanely popular movies in a role that basically mocks yourself. I don't feel that bad for him.

was he drunk when he attacked?

I can see where he's coming from, though. Would YOU want to constantly be called a character you played five whole years ago?

He doesn't attack him. Terry just wrote a bad subject line. He's actually pretty cool about the whole thing, all in all.

Haha, well, I shouldn't have said attack, but how else would you have worded it? Troyer gets angry at Pierce for calling him Mini-Me?

If I were him, I wouldn't have taken a role that basically screamed "Look at me and laugh because I'm tiny! HAHA! I'm different, laugh at me!"

Any abuse he's taken from playing Mini-Me is pretty much self inflicted.

I didn't even think he got that angry. Perturbed, maybe?

I can kind of feel old Verne on that, as I am 5'5 and I do get guys I know addressing me as "little man", as in "what up, little man?" :cmad: Yeah, I am aware of my height. That **** has nothing to do with the conversation, mother****er. I have said, "dude, chill with that", only to get a "man, I'm just playing" response.

Yeah, that'll teach him to have a sense of humor about himself.

So if I see the guy from American History X walking down the street I should be all like "Hey bite the curb, lol!"

So I guess the actors in black face 70 years ago were just having a sense of humor about themselves, too?

You're seriously comparing white actors putting on black face for the purpose of viciously mocking black culture to a midget who poked a little fun at himself in a series of comedy films?

They're both minorities playing roles that mock their physical attributes.
