I have "Officially" been accepted into University. I went up there last week for a taster and it was good. Made a few friends, got drunk and overall, I enjoyed it.

My college grades came through the post a few days ago and I although I knew what grades I was getting, it was official and I got better grades than I was predicted.

Today, I logged on to the university tracking website, which deals with my application and I have been accepted into the university of my choice.

Woop woop.

I got into Staffordshire University in England.

and my major is Film Production Technology. (Practical course on filmmaking.)

I don't really know it as my knowledge is limited to a few colleges in Oxford and Cambridge as well as a few London schools but I am sure it is great especially if it was your first choice. Good luck with the course work as I assume you won't need any with the drinking

Hahaha, I won't need help drinking...coursework...I need a kick up the backside.

It's no-where as famous for it's alumni as Oxbridge, but it's a good technical university for courses in film, CGI and video game design, as well as animation. t:

So colleges in England don't let you know you've been accepted until a few weeks before school starts? That sucks, in the States we usually learn that around Jan. or Feb.

Well...I knew that I was accepted into the university...but it was a conditional offer, which means I have a place, as long as I get the grades that I need to get into the university.
