Villain(s) For Sequel?

With the sequel currently under heavy consideration, who would you like to see Ghost Rider up against in the next movie?

I'm thinking maybe have The Scarecrow as the main villain in GR2 and introduce Michael Badilino into the story. Maybe have Deathwatch in there as well.

THEN, if we get a GR3 as well, unleash Vengeance as the main villain with maybe Blackout in there too. Switchblade too.

I don't want to see vengence until a 3rd movie and after they introduce Dan Ketch. I think he should be so powerful it takes 2 Ghost Riders to take him down. As much as Cage likes the roll I don't see him just giving up the roll as Ghost Rider to make room for a new one, which makes me think we might not ever see Dan Ketch in the movie. For the sequel I'd like to see multiple villians like Scarecrow, Deathwatch and Blackout. I know they originally wanted Scarecrow, but batman pretty much screwed that up. Maybe now that it's been awhile they can bring him back. I don't think any of these three would be good enough villians on their own which is why I think it should be all three. In the comics they were good alone, but in the movie it needs to be a trio.

I would LOVE to see Danny Ketch, but it doesn't look like we will, and probably ONLY if Cage doesn't do the sequel.

But I do agree, it'd be soooooooo awesome to see Johnny AND Danny take on Vengeance....3 freaking GRs on screen at one time!!!

I'd also like to see anything about the demon mother and her Lilin. I mean, they could easily be a biker gang or something. Great stuff!

Personally I would like to see a crossover.. maybe the brood arc, or a spidey arc.

But if its GR alone, I like scarecrow, vengeance, and blackout. Maybe throw a cameo of Dr. Strange in there..

i want to see ghost rider duke it out with demogoblin or hobgolin (either one would be a real demon with a flaming glider), he'd fit so perfectly into the ghost rider world and we'd finally get to see a good comic book interpation of one of the goblin bad guys. o man how i'd love to see one of the goblins on a flaming demon glider fighting ghost rider, i think that might end up being my fav comic book movie if they did that.

Woah...I never thought of that man....but I REALLY do like that idea...it would make Danny and Johnny's intertwined stories less complicated.

As firm as they were with their decision to go with PG-13 on this one I doubt they would go with an R rating for the sequel. That wouldn't be fair for all the underage kids that liked the first one and wanna see the second one lol. Why couldn't there be 3 villians. I don't think there needs to be that much story behind Scarecrow and Deathwatch. It only took me one comic to figure out the background story for most comic characters. Ghost Rider is one of the most powerful Marvel characters ever and needs more than just one villian imo. Vengence would be enough, but I couldn't see them introducing him until towards the end. I like Flameheads idea of Dan Ketch being Vengence. That way Cage can stay as the Ghost Rider and we can have a Dan Ketch side story.

Yup, and then, if Nic doesn't want to do a third, he can pass the torch to Dan, after he learns how to control and use Vengeance... or some ****e like that.

As for the multiple villians, I can totally understand the point of view of lots eating up valuable time but, the way I see it, Ghost Rider is unstoppable. The more they throw at him, the better. And besides, demons are really easy to explain for the most part. Not much is needed to develop.

Either way, BlackHeart will be back. Perhaps the story could be adapted so that he is the one that creates Vengeance. They could still have the brother angle. The could still tell the story Dan sellin' his sole for love (of his sister) but, the only difference is that Blackheart gets to him first. The brother angle may not even be needed... or it could be a card played by Mephisto. A lie. A game. Who the hell knows. So many angles they can go with the character.

Well I remember MSJ saying during an interview that if there was going to be a sequel, they could 'let loose' on the 2nd one. Might as well make it a good R movie.

The Orb lol, Scarecrow will not be in a Marvel movie me thinks, don't get me wrong I'd love to see it but DC beat them to it. I hope it's Vengence, Blackheart learns that his demons just don't cut the mustard against GR so he creates an anti-GR, two flaming skulls, two flaming bikes, one awesome chase scene, and a fiery knock down drag'em out fight scene. I can just see GR pulling one of his spikes out of his skull as new ones grow out of Vengence's shoulder. The only thing is what will his bike look like since GR's is modeled after his?

Vengeance as an add on character...maybe at the end as a hint..sure, but man we need somebody with brains to tackle GR. There should be only one flamin biker in the sequel - Ghost Rider. Besides Vengeance will have to be all CGI as he is like freaking 7-8 feet tall and very bulky.
