how about ghost rider reboot?

The Johnny Blaze Ghost Rider was actually shown in Agents of Shield, he was shown passing the Ghost Rider onto Robbie Reyes.

Marvel Studios could easily just give Ghost Rider back to Johnny Blaze.

Not necessarily. There was a Ghost Rider, and he was based on the Johnny Blaze look, yes. But, his name was never confirmed. Easily could have been Danny just with the classic Blaze design.

I say do a brothers Ghost Rider movie with Johnny Blaze and Danny Ketch. Josh Holloway as Blaze and Dylan O'Brien as Ketch.

I like when the brothers team up in the comics like in Spirits of Vengeance and Heaven's On Fire

I started to say why are we arguing over Blaze, Ketch, Reyes, because aren't there more than 1 possessing spirit that makes the Ghost Rider? Why can't we have multiple Ghost Riders in the same universe, we do in comics.

I think it's better to focus on 1 GR for your first movie, but in a sequel, OH YEAH!!!! Throw in all the Ghost Riders!

They also had posters for Quentin Carnival, a stunt bike, etc. in the basement the Darkhold was hidden in though. So it seems to be implied it's Blaze

True yes, but technically, that just says Johnny Blaze exists. I would agree it was him, as well. But, if they opted to use Johnny Blaze later down the line as Ghost Rider in say a movie, they can easily retcon and say that was Danny. All I am saying :)

I'm not much of a Ghost Rider fan from the comics, but I did like the Agents of Shield version much better than the Nicholas Cage version.

With how limited his appearance in AoS was, I don't think that would even be necessary.

I don't remember seeing blaze pass it on to Reyes..

I am trying to remember the scene, it was just like a motorcyclist with no direct close in shot. So you could not identify Nicholas Cage. As opposed to it passing from Coulson back to Robbie Reyes in plan sight.

That's easy, Zarathos would just possess someone else. Several characters have held the mantle of Ghost Rider, so while Robbie Reyes is the one we met in the show, a reboot easily could feature Johnny Blaze or Danny Ketch (I would prefer Danny if they opted to reboot).
but why would that be considered a reboot? that's just the ghost rider arc in the MCU going from host to host
Fun fact: The TV shows aren't really canon
how you figure that?

doesn't he already exist in the mcu? how would a reboot be handled?
There are two (known?) Ghost Riders in the MCU - both of which have appeared in AoS, though we only know one by name.

I guess we wouldn't need a reboot, but a prequel could easily work (they're doing that with Captain Marvel already). We could have a prequel film (or series) on (a) Ghost Rider before said character shows up for something more interlinked.

Just imagine (if we had) a scene where Thanos was plummeting Thor & Ironman, and then a fiery chain wrapped around his neck, he managed to look around and a flaming skull merely said the words "guilty". ;)

I think they can handle more than one Ghost Rider.

We already know Blaze has been around before Robbie became a Ghost Rider.

I think they could just take the Ant-Man/Black Panther approach of having the previous Ghost Rider exist. Blaze backstory could be established in a prologue/opening credit scene like they did with the Incredible Hulk or Wakanda's history in Black Panther.

I consider them all canon, they just don't cross with each other. But, that doesn't bother me.

That could work

While the rest of the agents were finally accepting that Robbie was not an Inhuman Coulson suggested that he knew of a Ghost Rider in the past. It lead some to think that Nichols Cage and Wesley Snipe's Blade could be seen as that missing era only seen in Agent Carter cameos

Yeah, let's not adopt Nic Cage Blaze, LOL!!! Snipes Blade, we cool there.

The Nic Cage movies were not successful at the box office and are not fondly remembered by most people. Marvel has no reason to bring back Cage for the Ghost Rider.

The motorcyle and outfit looked like Johnny Blaze, until Marvel denies it I'll act as if it's Johnny Blaze.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

They would have the same reason that Samuel L Jackson, Colbie Smulders and Jamie Alexander were brought in, to boost the TV wing. But then that would hurt the opportunity for an actor recast as with Don Cheadle for Terrance Howard.

I wonder why Nicholas Cage doesn't show up on TV when he will do just about any B movie now.

I'm willing to bet that if we were to see Ghost Rider in a movie, Feige and co. would ignore what happened on Shield

So you think he would choose Robbie Reyes for one of his 3 to 6 at the top end movies and year? If anyone gets a Ghost Rider it will probably be a show runner for Hulu.

No, I bet he'd use Johnny Blaze but whatever happened on Shield won't be mentioned

Well since the only Ghost Riders we got identified and a good look at were Robbie Reyes and Phil Coulson that is no trick at all
