The Dark Knight Viral Tattoo

Is anyone getting the tattoo getting it before the screening?

cuz it would totally suck if the movie sucked

Even if the movie ends up being terrible (highly, highly unlikely), Batman has been around for quite some time now and is always cool. You could always just associate your tattoo with 'Batman' instead of TDK.

wwoowww hold up, just wait a while, because remember tattoos are permanent and tattoo removals are said to be extremely painful, remember this may seem awsome now, but will it be years later? (probably)

This ain't my first rodeo bud.

I've been wanting a batman/Joker tattoo for years and now I have two symbols that are awsome enough to permantntly ink on my body

I really like the Joker tattoo, too bad my husband isn't so inclined. Be careful that your CFB tattoo doesn't get mistaken for something else, the fist I mean.
hahaha, everyone thinks I have a black panther keychain.
But if i were to get a tattoo, it would probably just end up being the joker on the card, nothing to flashy

Not viral related but i have the Joker and Harley Quinn on my arms. Joker is little over 2 years and Harl is 5 months

OH man. I love those. I'm probably getting a Joker-related tattoo (thinking Bolland art, maybe--though BTAS Joker is so iconic) around August, but I'm not sure what image... and I'd like to get a complementary Harley piece, too. Those look really great. How much did they cost you?

haha horrible movie. would suck if you really had that tattoo, OctaviousINC.

lemmasaurus each of my tats were $250 plus a tip to the artist and took 3 hours per (one sitting). make sure u get an artist that specializes in the type of art u want. in my case he was so happy to do them that i got a slight discount. still costly tho.

I do think that the citizens for batman tattoo would be great. now you have me thinking about getting it.

on the line of bad tattoos. i would love to see someone get tattoos of bats on their nipples. would be the best gag ever. if you see where i'm going with this

Clowningaround - Those tattoos are beautiful!

Love the Harley one :cwink:

Yeah, I wouldn't choose an artist unless they were familiar with that kind of work. Those are really awesome tattoos though. Where'd you get them done?

M&M tattoos in Downingtown, PA. artists name is Bill. Great guy.

That's one way to look at it. But, judging by the fact that he says the only space he has left is his calves, I'm pretty sure he knows well the ramifications of tattoos. Also because he has two preferred artists. Most people don't even have preferred artists.

But the way I think of it is thus--if at any point (while sober, and the good places won't tattoo you if you're not) I liked something so much I wanted to get a tattoo of it, it's legit. The fact is that even if years later it's not your favorite or you're not really all that fond of the tattoo, it serves as a reminder of a thing you loved, if not always then back when, so much that you wanted it engraved in your skin. I think that counts for something.

Of course, that's my philosophy. Others just like to have things they think are really beautiful (some people I know like the ones that are pretty, and sure, I like to look at them, but to me the beautiful ones are often meaningless...which makes them no less wonderful but that thought makes all the difference to the person getting the tattoo; sure, a fairy is pretty, but to me, something pretty is what jewelry is for--and something meaningful is what tattoos are for). I used to fear getting something that years down the line I wouldn't love as much, but like I said...if it ever mattered to me so much that I wanted a tattoo of it, that's enough. The only ramification I particularly fear is using up a space I wish I'd used on something else, but, what can you do. But I'm not alone in this feeling.

I LOVE them. I don't even have anything else to say. I've been thinking about getting a Harley tat myself.

Dude, don't remind me...

Great tats Frankie!! I don't think I'd ever do anything like that though. ;)

Am I the only one that thinks that was an insanely stupid idea? To each his own, though. It's your body.
