I'm still a bit confused! I thought we would nominate, then a list nominations would be released, and THEN is when we would e-mail our choices.

Thats how it was done back in da day! In fact, back in the day we have a seperate forum for this with people promoted to mods to just oversee the whole thing.

CTOAN and SIG provided teh funny. Then they became perverted with a big sense of officiality, becoming hyped up and modded; basically becoming an institution of The Man. We've only had two hype awards! In 2001 and 2002. I wasn't here in 2001, so I guess I wanted what we got in 2002.

Not really. If I recall correctly we entered people and threads then a list of nominees were chosen based on that.

Just to be clear you guys, it's OK to post who you're voting for here, you know, whatever! Show some pride! I'll count the above votes just because it's so early on. But from now on I'm only counting votes emailed to me. It is just tons easier for me, I don't want to have to sift through pages of alternating votes and normal posts to find the votes.

and in his acceptance speech he had a 20 point presentation thanking Jessica Alba and then just showed a slide show of her youth to now which everyone was forced to sit through.

Male and female member most likely to post n00dz
Male and female member most likely to request n00dz
Post****e of the year
Pissing contest of the year
Hottest male and female boardie
Board member most deserving of a ban [that hasn't already recived one]
Freak of the year
Dumbest username
Singleton of the year

These are all classics from some of the other boards I'm on, and make for a lot of fun when people compete for the titles.

All of these should be included. Its a big enough community after all.
