Don't forget to make your picks today, Bob.
I think that is the reason.
The Cowboys had the same hate back in the early to mid 90's.
I can't think of any other reason. For those who picked Pats as the Most Hated team, I would really like to hear their side of it.I think that is the reason.

Well... that's a very dumb reason then.I guess it's a rule in sports, hate who's good. And apparently for no other reason than that![]()

Anyway, I bet none of my Seattle teams get any nominations. Haterz!![]()

Hey, I'm a Jets fan too but for me, I'd pick Jets as Most Hated because ... they suck and they disappoint me and watching them cause me so much heartache. I hate you, Jets!!!!Yeah I want to hear the reason on that as well, from fans of other than the Jets that vote the Patriots as most hated.
If your reason for picking them as Most Hated just because you think that "everyone hates them", you should be very ashamed of yourself.I picked them. Heh Heh.
I know everybody hates them.![]()

The question is why.
Ahh... okay.I know everybody hates them besides Patriots fans. It's all over blogs, radio, television. It stems from them being the best team in football and also the cheating incidents.
I picked them as Most Hated, not hated by Showtime.
Hear! Hear!Anyone who is a rational thinking human being can see that the whole "spygate" incident has had no effect on how good the team is playing. It doesn't help the offensive line be as good as they are, it doesn't help Moss catch a football in between his elbow and the side of his chest in between two defenders, etc, etc, etc.

I am not a Patriots fan and I don't hate them. In fact, I enjoy watching their games. They don't play well all the time but even when they are not playing well, they still get the win.
No, I don't see anything wrong with appreciating an exciting team that makes watching them play such a fun thing to do. Sometimes it gets on my nerves when I show appreciation for a team that's playing well and I am immediately labeled "a bandwagoner".Same with me for the Colts. Even though they are huge rival of the Patriots I love to watch them play. They are exciting. Same goes for the Rams in the late 90's early 2000's. Nothing wrong with appreciating an exciting team.
I am the same way. As a Yankee fan, I am "expected" to hate the Red Sox. But I don't. They have been phenomenal for the past few years and I always enjoy watching their games, no matter what teams they are playing and I have much respect for the Sox's manager and many players on that team. The Yankees are the biggest and oldest rival of the Boston Red Sox, however I can't help but appreciate them. Jeter a phenomenal baseball player and Rivera is the best closer I have ever seen play.
I guess I am more a fan of baseball or football as a whole.

Like you, for me, love for the sports come first. I am a huge soccer fan but my viewing of the game are not limited to big league teams.
Damn straight!I agree. There is nothing wrong with appreciating a team's accomplishments or enjoying the game you love.
It... feels kinda odd for me to watch him not managing the Yankees anymore.I feel the same way about Torre, the guy is just a class act. I wish him the world in L.A.
What's your Dad's club? In the Greek league? I don't think I've ever seen any Greek teams play unless it's their national team playing in the WC or Euro tournament. I believe they were Euro 2004 tournament. But then again, I am getting old and going senile... my memory isn't as sharp as it was 10 years ago...I played soccer for years as a kid. My dad is from Greece right off the boat. He played soccer until his mid 50's and coached my teams up until high school. We enjoy watching his club team play as well as watching MLS together. We basically watch whatever soccer might be on, whether it be English Premier or Women's NCAA. That being said, the soccer threads on The Hype are pretty lame for the most part.
Fran do you still need someone do to Trophies? If so, get me the images and what not, that you want to use, and I'll do it.
