Transformers Vote for who you want in the sequel!

Megatron and Barricade return.

Autobots joining are Inferno, and Sideswipe.

Sideswipe AND Sunstreaker together (brothers) would make for some intense and interesting chase scenes and road battles.

Man, so many great choices. I wish Shockwave was getting more votes. Unfortunately most folks are only familiar with his boring cartoon persona. I really hate the fascination with Grimlock.... I mean, he was a fantastic toy (probably the best I ever saw back then), but people gotta take a step back and think about how he'd be woven into the story.

I vote for either no Grimlock or only a cameo!

AND NO UNICRON!

Megatron, Soundwave (and little minions), and Starscream need to be in it and have plenty of interaction.

I voted for Shockwave only because I assume Soundwave is already in it. I'd love to see a Jetfire/SS fight, though. Maybe Jetfire could be that plane (I forget the type) that was the last to shoot at Skorponok in Qatar.

This isn't working for me for some reason. Who are the options in the poll?

You know, this is actually a pretty short and very select list...and popularity-wise, some of the ones at the very TOP already...I'm willing to bet these characters are already going to be added and this poll is just DiBonaventura having fun

Where's the love for Prowl :csad: Shockwave is next best IMO.

I mean no offense to Soundwave fans, but Blackout had the Megatron reverence on lockdown in this film. Shockwave deserves his time in the light, and would hopefully offer more interaction between the Cybertronians in a sequel rather than human-oriented interaction only.

500th post!lol, I don't even know any of them except for Shockwave....

Don't you think people will be confusing soundwave with Frenzy from the movie?

Don't see how. No one confused Megatron for Starscream despite their flight capacities.

For humans I'd love to see the return of both Sam and Michaela. Lennox and Epps would be welcome if brought in part way through the story for flavour.

For Decepticons, Soundwave is just too popular to ignore and his loyalty to Megatron is a surefire catalyst for Megatron's return.

For Autobots, the Surviving Autobots are set in stone I suppose, but a plot that ressurects Jazz could be could be interesing.

Ideas that get passed around that I loathe: Unicron, Devastator (green combined Constructicon), any Dinobots.

Sideswipe AND Sunstreaker together (brothers) would make for some intense and interesting chase scenes and road battles.

Sunstreaker was my first Transformer toy. I think I still have it locked away in an old chest along with the Star Wars collection. I wonder if it's still in good condition... I agree that he and Sideswipe should be together. Somehow I don't see two lamborghinis as very helpful to staying under a tight movie budget though. :woot:

OK SINSE WE CAN'T HAVE SOUNDWAVE TRANSFORM INTO A CASSETTE RECORDER BECAUSE THEY'RE PRACTICALLY EXTINCT, I SAY WE GO WITH THE NEXT BEST THING!!!:o A COMBO VHS/DVD RECORDER,:oldrazz: WE CAN HAVE TWO VHS CASSETTES AS RUMBLE AND FRENZY(HE WOULD RETURN IN THIS FORM FROM THE FIRST MOVIE) AND TWO DVD DISCS WOULD TRANSFORM TO BECOME RAVAGE AND LAZERBEAK(HIS NAME WOULD ACTUALLY MAKE SENSE NOW SINSE DVD ARE READ WITH LAZERS)!!!:oldrazz::D:up:

Soundwave and his buddies Rumble, Ravage a Laserbeak.

For the autobots, Blaster or Smokescreen. Also wouldn't mind Jetfire to give the Autobots some air support.

Sideswipe AND Sunstreaker together (brothers) would make for some intense and interesting chase scenes and road battles.

If they become GM cars as well, perhaps they'll be Corvettes?

Megatron and Starscream weren't given much to do in part one really so I would like to more of them in the sequel. Don't bring a slew of newbies when the ones already introduced haven't been given any dialogue

Your right, but Megtron had a a completely different looking transformed form, Frenzy was what Soundwave would turn into if he was in the movie.

I wonder if that's actually the line up that the film makers came up with...?

If so i think that's really cool, as all (except Hot Rod) are great choices, imo. Sorry i'm a die hard Hot Rod/Rodimus hater...!

Mirage has almost been my all time favorite. The profile they give of him on that USA page would make for an interesting story. Him giving the Decepticons what they want, thinking/hoping that'll end the war, only to have the Decepticons (of course!) go back on their word, and do whatever...., then have him redeeem himself at the end...like i said, it would make for a great Autobot character twist amongst the Autobot ranks.

I don't see how they can have another Devastator since Brawl was called that in the movie.

I agree. For the love of god, we already had Transformers 1986 and I'd like to keep the story grounded. The idea of a giant, planet eating robot just does not appeal to me. And Galactus was obviously received sooo well in Fantastic Four. Seriously though, as neato and grand the idea of a live action Unicron sounds, at what point is too much.... too much? I think Unicron and the dinobots are ideas best left on the toy shelf and in the cartoons.

Devastator (the REAL Devastator) is about as far as I'd like to see the realms of robot reality pushed when it comes to size. But I think a Devastator type robot would be best left for the third Transformers.

Devastator is the ideal choice. That way we can see something we haven't seen. 5 Robots combining into one!

if they put soundwave in I want him to be this
