Wacky Races The Movie?

The old cartoon with Dick Dasterdly and Muttley. There "seems" to be a live action movie version of it on the way. While trying to find some info on other movies I came across this actors page. It says he's been cast as Peter Perfect and Jem Frazer (Harry Potter) is going to direct. The film be by WB. I guess they own the rights.

They already made this movie TWICE. First it was called Its Mad Mad Mad World and the other was called Rat Race.

Kinda off topic,but this would make a cool video game.Dick Dasterdly & Mutley were awesome.I used to love wacky races as a kid.Hell I still watch it.I don't know if a movie based on this should be done though.

Oh yeah, because Seth Green's dog companion was great at fooling the other racers.
