Want a third season of The Spectacular Spider-Man? If so, then please tune into the second season of The Spectacular Spider-Man premiere tonight on DisneyXD, and make sure to tune into every new episode after that. Want a season three? Then watch season two on Disney XD. Simply as that.

Disney XD will premiere the second season of The Spectacular Spider-Man with two back-to-back episodes tonight, June 22nd, 2009 with the episode "Blueprints" airing at 7:00pm (ET/PT) followed by "Destructive Testing" at 7:30pm (ET/PT).

Even though i did see all the season 2 episodes via youtube while it was airing in canada/aus/etc.... prior to our us release. I am still going to check it out tonight.

I'll definitely be watching. You know its funny, in retrospect i'm so mad at myself for watching the whole season in advance instead of waiting. If i had waited, tonite would've been crazy exciting. Oh well...lol

Yeah, I as watching a season 1 episode and forgot how crisp it looks on a TV. So I can't wait to see some of the newer episodes.

Yea it does blow they decided to go 13 weeks for airing of the season 1 episodes instead of going 1 month deal or a few day marathon event. But they did it for their reasons, ratings have been good on season 1 episodes on DXD so season 2 should be just fine for them.

Why did it take so long for season 2 to come out?! It was awesome!!!

This truly is the best Spider-man cartoon series ever. Actually I've enjoyed the show better than the movies. I liked the first 2 movies but the third was crap, and Spectacular Spidey handled Venom better than the movie that's for sure.

This show captures the spirit of the early comics and the fun of the character so well. It is way better than the 90's series. Keep up the good work, and please come back for many more seasons.

The Stan Lee cameo was a very nice touch.

Sadly, I do not have cable or satellite, so it looks like I'll have to watch them on Youtube, or wait for DVD...which pisses me off, as Gwen and I watched all the episodes last summer after she was born. I used to feed her a bottle while we watched it.

Now, I've got to wait.

The more i think about it, the more i feel like we have nothing to worry about. Season 3 is more than likely at this point. Weisman himself has stated that ratings have been great and heck, its SPIDERMAN folks. It would be a no brainer for Disney to renew this show, he's one of the biggest supeheroes and the show is getting good ratings, i really dont see them turning the show down.

What bothers me is Greg saying they can pick up the show after season 2 is over, etc Septemner. Most of the crew will probably be working on somethin else, because, you know, its another 2 months. But I really hope DXD will order season 3 in July.
