Hey Everyone,

My Names Matthew Petz. I'm super excited that my comic is in competition this month at DC's online imprint Zuda Comics.

I'm going to be doing everythinhg possible so that my comic War of The Woods wins

Hence this post, I'll need your help...well actually your vote. If you can take a minute out to sign up a zuda account and vote (assuming you liked it) that woud be awesome.-- it only takes a minute and Zuda ( DC ) is great about not spamming.

Best way to describe it would be Wind and the Willows meets Aliens, or Watership Down meets H.G. Wells. I've tried to make it as awesome looking and fun as possible.

I plan on doing a bunch of fun stuff this month to keep everyone entertained, and try to win as many votes as possible. My plan from the beginning was to make a comic that only I could tell. I wanted it to be original, and have really awesome artwork. I'll be bumping the thread often when I put new blog content up, but heres whats available now.

- I have a twitter page ( www.***********/matthewpetz ) I encourage you all to follow. As I'll be doing some contests and some other cool stuff all this month.

- On the blog you can also watch the youtube trailer I made for the comic.

- That trailer also has an original song I recorded. Its sort've my theme song for the comic. On the blog you can download an MP3 for free so you can have a soundtrack while reading the comic.

- Finally on the blog I created a free downloadable Production Sketchbook PDF. Inside I have some info on how I created the comic. A ton of sketches and designs. Thumbnails to final page comparisons, and a running commentary on the sketches and ideas within the comic.

hey everyone, thanks for the kind words !

So I'm bumping the thread for a contest.

I'm going to see if we can get the number of favorites to get to 75, by the end of weekend ( Sunday at midnight ).

War Of The Woods currently has 63 favorites. So it doesn't seem like too hard a feat. SO If you haven't voted or rated it or made it a favorite, now would be a great time to do so.

As soon as It gets to 75, I'll give away a free sketch ( already drawn and ready to mail ! ) of Phineas the otter and Issac the turtle.
