Warner Bros. Looking to Rehash The Fugitive

It's like a bad dream.

I love the original. It doesn't need to be done - there's just no excuse for it.

So they've had one hit show, one hit movie remake of show, one hit sequel, and one failure with the remake show.

I say they make a U.S. Marshals 2.

So now the studios are trying to hide a remake under another new word, rehash?

F--kers.

Awww, I liked the Tim Daly show.... then again, I was 11, so my opinion cant really be trusted.

I never even knew the show was on, I was watching that first season of CSI with my parents. Only reason I know about it is Wikipedia.

They've been doing that for years with "re-imagining".

Rob Zombie: "It's not a remake of Halloween. It's a re-imagining."

WRONG!

Yup. Remake, re-imagining, update, reboot... and now rehash. Too bad they can't figure out that it doesn't matter what you call it... when it sucks ass.

Will Robert Downey reprise his role as generic double crosser?

I guess. I can't for the life of me remember how that movie ended

He died, right?

Well I actually somewhat liked Zombie's Halloween (and a few other remakes), I just hate it when they split hairs.

I know, but I see U.S. Marshals as a sort of "reboot" anyway, so this'd be the second time.

The Fugitive is one of all-time favorites. I think it's the childhood memories.

Oh, I'm not saying all remakes suck. I'm just saying it doesn't matter what they get called when they suck... they just suck.

The Thing and Invasion of the Body Snatchers are great remakes. No one tries to call them reboots, rehashes, re-imaginings, etc. They just call them good movies.

Yeah. Scarface and the Fly are great remakes too.

I think the problem with remakes, as I point again, is that a.) they are not made well and b.) ignorant people may not realize that the remake is a remake. Option B p*sses me off the most, I would think. "Oh, The Omen is a remake?" It bothers me to no end. It's funny in the day of the internet, people are still clueless. Sorry, I'm going off into a rant..

As long as they do a good job, I guess it's fine. But I think the principle that bothers right now is that every week, there's a new announcement of a remake or two. It's never been like this before.
