Jimmy Hoffa...

Everyone knew who he was at one point... Times change, people die, and a new world emerges with a disconnect from the old. The learning curve of humanity never ends as governments come and go, the earth spins, and cultures change.

The Irishman on Netflix had me wondering about how people today would perceive a character like this. Out of curiosity, I wonder what people on these forums think?

In response to that I voted Hero. He had his faults but he was no mafioso.

It's a letter to capitalistic society that the government and big corporate B.S. is not the end all be all. That being said, some of the stuff on the Irishman like pushing cabs into the water or diffusing with "candy" I don't feel is the appropriate way to disagree. Still, it's a movie... Overall, I think his intentions were good.

Jimmy Hoffa was a decent man who got in over his head. Now that Jimmy Hoffy on the other hand, he was a mother******. :o

He was neither. Hero and villain don’t apply to real people like that. He was a complicated, three dimensional human being.

The history books weren't kind to him.
