Superman Returns Was this fan art that actually made it into the film?

I remember seeing a poster of this artwork on one of the walls of the offices shown in the Behind The Scenes specials that were released up to the release of the film. I believe its fan art work? And was the artist were accredited in the film?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it is fan art, they had it on a few websites when the film was called Flyby, maybe there was a scene in the Flyby version that was similar to the scene in SR and as copies of that script had leaked maybe someone did a fan art of that scene. Could also be that someone just created it and its similar to the Returns scene I mean its not an uncommon position for Superman to be in.

I'm sure that fan art started at Bluetights.net - a Superman page and forum that no longer exists - and they took it from there.

Actually, Superman-V.com was part of the Blue Tights Network. That particular piece of art was created by that site's former administrator, who was also a mod on BT.

^That last one is awesome, but yeah the original picture did inspire the scene in the movie, and the scene in the movie was one of the best.
