I'd hate to see what he thinks of Spiderman 2....or Smallville.

In the anime forum I was told that I was either:

A. a woman

or

B. a woman trapped in a man's body

:(

Anyways, I loved Spider-Man 2, but I hate Smallville

I thought the film was pretty damn emotional. The scene where Supeman got his ass kicked by Lex's goons almost brought me to tears. The scene where Superman was talking to his son in his sleep. The scene where Superman was falling from the sky after lifting New Krypton into space. The scene where Superman is in the hospital but the doctors can't do anything to help him, those scenes brought my emotions up
That scene pisse dme off , considering in singers version of super, k-rock depowers him and does not make him ill, i expected the fool to put up a fight. **** WB and singer I will never pay to watch any of his crap. Thank God DC is putting out direct to video stuff. I am done with WB's stupidity. talk about ****ign up a franchise and making an icon a *****.

After seeing this pic, all I can say is in the importal words of the govenor of California, when refering to the legislator in Sacramento, they are all girly men. :p Now we know where the weapon of mass distruction has been that Bush was looking for. Can you imagine anyone posting a pic like this about Reeves Superman ? 1st Brokeback Mountain, now this.

In the sequel Jason is going to be chased down by the Eradicator because he is not a pure blood.

Thought this might as well go in here

Horn Planning Superman Sequel for 2009
Source: Los Angeles Times
August 18, 2006

Warner Bros. Pictures President Alan Horn talked to the Los Angeles Times about the performance of Superman Returns and echoed director Bryan Singer's comments from Comic-Con that they are hoping for a sequel in 2009:

Horn expects "Superman Returns" to eventually gross about $400 million worldwide, more than last year's hit "Batman Begins." Nonetheless, "Superman" fell at least $100 million short of his expectations.

"I thought it was a very successful movie, but I think it should have done $500 million worldwide," Horn said. "We should have had perhaps a little more action to satisfy the young male crowd."

Still, he's betting Warner has firmly reestablished the "Superman" franchise and is planning another installment for summer 2009.

You can read the full article at the link above.

so.....if Singer had stayed with Fox and made X3......does that mean that we wouldn't have gotten SR????

That means......it's all FOX's fault.....they srewed up 2 franchises.........

either that......or we would have gotten another crappy director to make another crappy superman movie.....sigh.......

Hmm.... well it didn't lack action, it lacked CONFLICT... emotion-driven action between people...

Instead, Superman became an anti-hero who was responsible for abandoning Lois and Jason, freeing Lex and even being cruel to his dog by throwing that ball a ridiculous distance! He appeared, for the most part, distant and uncaring...

In Superman Returns we saw Jason Begin...now in 2009...Jason Returns in Superman Continues.

No it'll be called Superman Forever or Wrath of zod

though I highly doubt they'll keep Singer on board. He'll go out like ang Lee did imo.

Considering that it appears as if WB has been trying to keep Singer for the upcoming sequel, and judging from Alan Horn's statement as well as the Hollywood Reporter article, I would put my money on Singer returning. They like his vision and they're gonna stick to it.

but I read all the same things about Ang Lee.

Yeah, but Universal isn't even making the second Hulk film. Marvel Studios is. Universal might have wanted an Ang Lee return, but Marvel didn't (Avi Arad was pretty vocal about Lee's approach to the film).

Since Warner Bros. will still be doing the sequel themselves, they'll most assuredly be wanting Singer to return. And from the looks of things, Singer wants to return as well.

Not saying it's 100% gonna happen (nothing in Hollywood is certain), but I'd put money on it.

I am with you Freddy K., I think it's a forgone conclusion.

I loved Spider-man 2 and hate Smalville, too.
Does that make me a woman trapped in a man's body?

I'd be surprised if they kept him on board after going through hell to bring this movie to theaters only to have modest return at the Bo. They put all their faith in one of Marvel's best movie directors and now I think there must be a penalty in some form that WB's going to give someone, (probably Singer) for the film's less than expected performance. Some changes are going to get made for the second, probably A LOT. the report says "more action" which will be cool, but what does that mean. It won't mean higher budget. That'd be stupid. Hulk 2's getting more action and of course we know who's directing that...
