It is a pretty stupid decision from that bollywood studio to use that title.
Then again if reports are true , WB could've taken action years ago and not at the last moment. It's almost like what Fox did with Watchmen. Yes Fox says they had contacted WB before , but really all we can go on with are legal documents. I mean now that Watchmen is going on full steam ahead Fox go on and sues WB.

Anyway back to the topic.
It shouldn't come as a surprise really . Anyone with some knowledge of how the world of bollywood is , will know that they have often made very similar movies.However they could've easily used another title and still have the same movie. Just like Hollywood likes to remake forein movies, bollywood also likes to remake hollywood movies. Bad Boys 2 got a indian version . Ditto with Fight Club.

The names do appear similar, but the article says nothing about what the Bollywood film is about.

Even then, there are numerous examples of US films that are similar to other films.

LEt's rip off every freaking hit Western picture out there... lets have one hour of singing and dancing in our three hour movies that are all pretty much "Boy likes girl, girl likes boy..." The films are trash... any Hindu who has a decent taste in cinema who doesn't realize that is fooling himself... I am the one of the few Hindus who sees through the truth. Brahman has reached me... at least when it comes to criticizing Bollywood films. Not trying to offend anyone here... that's just my opinion. Your are welcomed to watch more Bollywood films if you please.

"Hello, Zep" from Saw is often used in trailers for movies, and I've even heard Molossus a couple of times which is really weird. It's not using copywritten music that's the problem; It's copywritten music without permission.
