This is going to be written by the guy who wrote the TNT version of 'salam's Lot. So, it should be better then The Shining remake (Though i like that remake)

dammnit!, it seemed like six hours with the commercials

I liked TNT's Salem's Lot.
I really enjoyed it.

Have you read the book? The TNT version destroys it.

To some degree, but the events are basically the same. I read the book after seeing the TNT movie, and it was nice that things were slightly different. I guess that's what makes the mediums go good together if done right. That way you get suprised when reading the book.

It was also squashed into two hours, which rarely works for a King novel.

But I think 'salam's Lot was more faithful to the source material than the original It was. Atleast Lot felt like it should, It feels so cheesy and wrong.

Sadly, that was a book I did not read. :(

I'll watch it. Loved the book, liked the original movie

Loved the book, but the original mini-series was so lame. And I have my doubts this book really can be made into a good movie or mini-series. Most of King's stories just doesn't work on the screen

How's everyone feel about the idea of having Beverly be the main character?

I guess in terms of a character arch, she has the most interesting. I'm slightly weary, but interested just the same.

"I'll kill you all"

Is what I will be yelling if the remake is terrible. But the origional and the book were both awsome.

A TV movie/mini series remake of a TV movie/mini series?

Oh noes. :(

As was said above IT was great until the ending ... its almost as if King didn't know what to do.

Curry as pennywise is still one of the most chilling characters I have ever seen on screen.
