I confess sometimes I really wonder, what the **** is the point?

I go out, I bring in a bunch of shopping carts. I go home. I give all my paycheck to bills and end up with like $20 for the week, therefore I'm broke by the time I get my check, and never save anything.

Water, rinse, repeat.

I work for a prop rental/event planning place. we make alot of props/decor/graphic design for companies. Most of our business is in Columbus and Cincinnati, but have a few clients in sandusky, and indianapolis.

we usually work with event planners for corporate events, who hire us to bring in our decor and set it up. While we also plan smaller scale stuff ourselves (proms/weddings/private parties)

I could easily get you an on-call job for setting up if you were closer. holiday season is incredibly busy.

my bf has done new years with me (which he hated) (the Hyatt in cbus hires us to basically set up an entire floor) and we have to tear it down the night of NYE, so we didnt get home till like 6am lol. I think it scarred him....

but most of the other stuff isnt so bad. (like this weekend we just did drapery for a wedding).

But yeah.. on call jobs like event planners and caterers is actually usually pretty good and flexible money.

they hired me on full time after i showed i could help with the art department (its a small business) but i have the title "assistant art director" which will look great if i ever get a job elsewhere

Must be easy at K-mart...is it a skeleton crew working there? I know the closet one here has a skeleton crew years ago. One person worked like 6 different departments...by themselves...
