If you start typing a post, it auto-saves sporadically. Then if you accidentally click away or close out, if you go back, what you typed (up to the last auto-save) will still be in the reply box.

Oh that sounds really good. Will have to play around with it. I’ve had page long posts completely lost before which made me give up on the Hype for a few days (in rage lol), so this would be a nice safety net.

I do wonder how the new options and layout will affect the general way the Hype has been for a long time. I think it will affect things like what threads get focused on. Look at Community. There were quite a few more threads on the first page listed before. Now I think that unless something is posted in them each day they tend to sink faster or they will sink faster. That has to affect the number of posts they will get or the interest in them from both members and nonmembers alike.

I kinda wonder if that wasn't factored into the design?

So, you hit the Multi-quote button on all the posts you want to quote. That basically adds them to the clipboard. Then, when you're ready to type up your reply, look under the reply box, and you'll see a new button: "Insert Quotes." Select that, you'll get the clipboard with all the quotes, and just confirm that you want to "Quote These Messages" and they all get inserted into your reply box.
