Web developers and college kids, need your input pretty please

For the past year I've been working at a webzine, but now my boss wants to give me more responsibility (not that I ever f@#$ing asked for it)

He wants to start a new website, targeted at college kids and he wants me and a coworker to make a pitch about such a website. He wants a name, features, a communication strategy, the works.

There are not a lot of such websites in Romanian internet so unfortunately I don't have much to go on. I'd like to hear what are some of your favorite sites about college life and what you like about them. Now obviously college life is not the same in US as it is in Romania, but Romanian college kids want to be American college kids anyway so i think it works out.

Also, web developers, if you could give some pointers on how to make the website more efficient.

well let's start with GOOD college websites, or GOOD websites about college life that you happen to frequent. If nobody here knows of such websites, then I guess I asked the wrong crowd.
