So I went to the orthodontists a few days ago and ever sense I got back I'm been getting this weird sensation in my lower jaw area around my gums on the lower jaw to be more specific. It's not really painful it's more of that it's like ya know when your leg falls asleep and it's tingly like that but not painful, it's like that. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about.

How about asking your doctor?

Sounds like something you should have checked out.

YEah I'm going in in a couple weeks anyway cause I might get surgery on my jaw. Also I was thinking of going to my doctor but it's not very painful just annoying.

That weird feeling is called "clean teeth".

What exactly did you have done Marvelman? It sounds to me like it could be some kind of nerve damage. My wisdom teeth were horizontally impacted and slightly into my jaw bone. (It wasn't a pleasant experience when I got them removed, to say the least.) For a couple of weeks after that, my mouth on the right side down toward my chin was numb and tingly. It eventually went away. I would definately be asking your doctor or dentist about it just to be sure.

Does you jaw pop out , mine does sometimes and it hurts . It doesnt literally pop out (feels like it) but it does something weird and then the side of my face hurts for a couple minutes.

I don't think you should wait a couple of weeks.

Just let someone punch you in the mouth 3 or 4 times and it'll be all good.
