Horror Welcome to Derry - HBO Max Developing IT Prequel Series

Goddamn. Bob Gray’s Pennywise is almost creepier than the standard one.

Me going into the season: Can this really sustain 8 episodes?

Me after last night: They're ending it HERE?! No, this needs to be longer!

I’m sad there’s only two episodes left. Really want a S2 and S3!
Depending on how this ends, I'd like to see future season(s) cover 27 years prior when It last fed, then 27 years before that, etc. Each season could cover a different time period. Again, for all I know this could end on a cliffhanger and go back to this same group of characters but there's probably only so much juice you could squeeze out of It terrorizing Derry in 1962.

S2 is supposed to be in 1935 with the Bradley Gang shootout and S3 in 1908 with the Kitchener Ironworks explosion. :)

Now that's what I'm talking about. And it'll most likely get renewed too.

Yeah yeah, I saw Longlegs and really liked it, but it was nowhere near as scary as many of those early impressions made it out to be. Sure, this is a TV show and not a movie, and I'm enjoying this show well enough, but these 'You aren't ready' types of posts need to stop.

I found Longlegs creepy enough. :( More disturbing than anything Ive seen lately.

Yeah, the movie is perfectly fine and worth a rewatch in the dark with no distractions, but those early declarations calling it the scariest movie of 2024? I don't think so. Very creepy tone, yes, but I just think the level of horror was overblown.

The only movie I've ever watched that actually scared me was the original Amityville Horror movie, but then I was eleven at the time. :p
