Synopsis:

Ex-criminal Jacob Sternwood(Mark Strong) is forced to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong. This gives detective Max Lewinsky(James McAvoy) one last chance to catch the man hes always been after. As they face off, they start to uncover a deeper conspiracy they both need to solve in order to survive.

Sounds cool. Who's directing?

Trailer came out. It looks pretty cool.

Great cast. James McAvoy, Mark Strong, Andrea Riseborough, Peter Mullan, David Morrissey, Daniel Mays, Johnny Harris, Jason Flemyng and Daniel Kaluuya

I didn't know Ridley Scott produced this.

Why do all modern night time London set movies have a icy blue tone?

Mark Strong looks like Agent 47 from Hitman.

Funnily enough my Dad asked me about this tonight as there was a trailer for it during the match and he noticed Ridley's name, I missed the trailer and had never heard of it.

Nice to see a British film not following the usual geezers and grimy locations route. This looks like a pretty slick action thriller with a good cast and a director who has a soft spot for John Woo. :D

Holy ****, it's The Governor. Looks pretty damn cool.

Looks good!

Might I add, THIS IS HOW YOU DO THE BLUE FILTER CORRECTLY, Die Hard 5! If you're gonna blue it up, make it beautiful, not over-saturate the colors and Tony Scott it (may he Rest in Peace.).

The screenplay for this movie was on one of those top ten lists of unmade screenplays a few years ago so hopefully its pretty good.

Professor X teaming up with Sinestro? AWESOME!!!

Saw this trailer when I went to see A Good Day To Die Hard yesterday, looks really good. I want to see more British films like this.

McAvoy should of kept his Scottish accent for the role. Scottish actors struggle with London accents and its not like there aren't alot of Scottish cops in the Met.

Ewan McGregors London accent in Cassandra's Dream was terrible too.

Went to see this last night, pretty good crime film. The performances by McAvoy, Strong and Morrissey are strong and McAvoy English accent is top notch Chamber but the performance by Jonny Harris steals the show. I recommend this film.

Jonny Harris is one of the actors I love to hate. He is so good at playing psycho evil villains.

Finally saw this. It was pretty good reminds me of last years The Sweeney movie in alot of ways. The two movies would make a good double bill.

McAvoy is playing against type as a damaged obsesssed with Mark Strong's criminal character and I wasn't really convinced he pulled the role off. It seems like a role Jason Statham or Clive Owen probably could of done better.

Everyone else was great although with such a great cast of actors you couldn't help but feel they were underused.

I've probably watched the trailer to this 10+ times.

It's likely the best Hitman movie we'll ever get.

Mark Strong was badass from the first scene to the last

Yeah, this looks really great. Awesome cast, great premise, cool blue filter... I need this movie in my life NOW.

I thought the movie was pretty average at best.
