I just downloaded the demo and gave it a quick rinse...this game is ****ING INSANE!!! :D It's brilliant. Think of a mix between Stranglehold and Ninja Gaiden then pump it full of steroids!

I recommend y'all to check the demo out

I was a fan of Stranglehold...until I played it. I'm gonna try out the demo tonight and see how it is. So far my expectations are pretty low.

I played it last week and it was pretty fun. It was a bit buggy, but that's to be expected for a demo. I'll rent it when it comes out. I did like the Tarantino feel it had though.

The demo does remind me of Stranglehold, only with more style. Tons of more style.

It's basically like a grindhouse action film. Feels and looks like Kill Bill brought to life in a videogame, really.

I got a kick out of it. I might not drop 60 for it, but I would drop a 30 or so.

Yea I don't think it's a game I'd buy at full price.

But it's just so fun to play, I love sliding along and shooting some goons, then finishing the last one of with my sword.

And I love the way you can target individuals with your two pistols, instead of in most games where they shoot in the same direction.

I'd love a Deadpool game like this :D

You'll just have a lot to catch up on when you get things settled.

Ain't this the one Dushku is voicing?

I grabbed the demo a few days ago but I've been so into Arkham Asylum that I haven't tried it out yet. After I saw the trailer I was like "OMG I MUST PLAY THIS" but more recently I've been having some doubts. Good to hear it plays well.

Played the demo last night. Like CBB said, it has the same feel as Stranglehold it just does it with more style. The freeway chase was pretty awesome though. I might rent it someday but right now I don't feel its worth $60.

Just played the demo. I guess I'm the only one who thought it was bad?

I thought it was alright. Nothing particularly special and I can see it getting repetitive pretty quickly. I'll probably get it a rent

My sister is staying at my place for the weekend and saw me reading about the game on IGN and was like, "of course a game starring a chick is gonna be called Wet." :oldrazz:

Eh, that was pretty much my reaction as well. *looks at the character* *looks at the title* "Oooof course." Haha.

I just played it and I liked it. Did anyone else think that the "Red" part reminded them of Mad World?

that's a Wii game, and I don't recognize Wii games..

the game seems OK, probably worth a rent

Yeah, it did actually. The way it started reminded me of Kill Bill though

I downloaded the demo a couple days ago but forgot I had it. I'll play it tonight. I've already decided from earlier gameplay videos that I'm gonna rent it when it comes out, though. It looks like a fun action game but it's not worth a full purchase to me.

The term "wet" is from the spy world where the CIA invented the word w.b. status which meant "wet boys" as opposed to licence to kill from the Brits and licence to terminate by other countries such as mine(mostly movie wise where Canada is involved) it was hinting at the trail of blood that assassins left on their missions and contracts. rather then body count.

And I just found these videos
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/qc-09-wet/54372

and this

that says i'm right too.

Heck even that gadget guy in the triple X movie Vin diesel was the star in gave mention to about the final part of the collection of bullets he gave for that gun when he gave to his character. if you bothered with that movie that is? I know some people like to write off that movie as bad. so...

But I'm sure some of you all knew that. there is a Clint Eastwood movie about it as him as a secret service agent having to fight former CIA agent that was that type of assassin in this movie.

Seeing there are comics such as wet works (which is what that was suppose to mean). the term comes from wet works mostly which those type of agents/ assassins do their thing. though their called cleaners or were the name changes often.

I was waiting for this game since before mirrors edge came out. But mirrors edge beat it out, release date wise . As the dev told the electric play ground reporters this is inspired by a lot of kill bill reference and few other things.

I putting that up for you all seeing that some of aren't in north america and will most likely be not able to see the ep video. her seeing red is her in rage mode, as the dev said too. not in this video.

it's as good as it gets.

Her jumping across buildings was gonna be the main draw but cause of the publisers switch it came out later then expected and mirror's edge kinda beat it to the punch to a degree. This is still an original Idea of video game .

We'll have to see the full game but i have a feeling the full on game will be better. anything that has to do with the spy world is cool as long as they get it right. And this is technically doing the free lance agent/assassins thing.
