Like things you personally flat out just won't do.

For me, I can't eat off paper plates or with plastic utensils. People look at me sideways when I say that, but I'm sorry I just can't.

Also don't do buffets.

God knows who coughed over that damn food.

I enjoy eating food that I get from buffets off paper plates and with plastic ware.

When playing NBA 2k as the all-time Lakers team, I refuse to ever put Pau Gasol in any lineup because I’m still irked over the Spanish national basketball team taking the racist “eye slant” team photo prior to the Beijing Olympics.
Somehow I think that benching a video game version of him is my way of sticking it to him.

You're not worried about germs when it comes to buffets?
If I’m eating low quality food that has been sitting out for who knows how long, I figure that whether or not the sneeze guard blocked all of the germs is the least of my worries.

I don’t actually eat at a lot of buffets. I enjoy them. But I don’t like the fact that I overeat so much at them.

I refuse to get a tattoo, pain tolerance not very high.
I refuse to interact with people when they’re sick.
I refuse to eat pickles, hate them so much,

I also dislike pickles. Even if they forget and put pickles in my burger and I remove it, I still can taste the remnants.

Kobe had a better way.....

EDIT: I'm guessing Kobe might have picked up a foul on that one, but I suppose you could make a case for a blocking foul. :funny:

I refuse to eat scallops. I can't even stand the way they smell. :barf:

I grill a mean scallop
How do you grill them and what do you use? I love large sea scallops grilled. I will often use olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Sometimes I'll also whip up a spicy szechuan/chili oil sauce and drizzle it over them. It's good on other kinds of fish and seafood also (mainly prawns). I think it goes especially well with a meaty, white fish (bass, roughy, halibut, etc., but it's also good on seared Ahi.

You should have married my wife. She refuses to use anything but plates and silverware that have been run through the dishwasher and is a complete germaphobe. I'm the exact opposite. I invite bacteria, eat stuff I've dropped on the floor, and get the side-eye from my wife when I eat tacos over the sink. :funny:

I do a 60/40 mixture of avocado oil to olive oil. Then I use garlic salt, sea salt, and black pepper. I actually grill them in foil so that they simmer in the oil.
I tend to enjoy the flavor of the oils paired with the scallops. I don’t usually use a sauce beyond that.

Huh.....cool. I should have thought of that. I keep avocado oil in the house, but, for some reason, never thought to try it with scallops. I have these thin copper infused sheets I put on the grill. They conduct heat really well and work great for fish. You should give them a try. I got mine from Amazon. They save a lot of clean up too.
