I enjoy eating food that I get from buffets off paper plates and with plastic ware.Like things you personally flat out just won't do.
For me, I can't eat off paper plates or with plastic utensils. People look at me sideways when I say that, but I'm sorry I just can't.

How do you grill them and what do you use? I love large sea scallops grilled. I will often use olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Sometimes I'll also whip up a spicy szechuan/chili oil sauce and drizzle it over them. It's good on other kinds of fish and seafood also (mainly prawns). I think it goes especially well with a meaty, white fish (bass, roughy, halibut, etc., but it's also good on seared Ahi.I grill a mean scallop
You should have married my wife. She refuses to use anything but plates and silverware that have been run through the dishwasher and is a complete germaphobe. I'm the exact opposite. I do a 60/40 mixture of avocado oil to olive oil. Then I use garlic salt, sea salt, and black pepper. Huh.....cool. I should have thought of that. I keep avocado oil in the house, but, for some reason, never thought to try it with scallops. I have these thin copper infused sheets I put on the grill. I tend to enjoy the flavor of the oils paired with the scallops. I don’t usually use a sauce beyond that.
