Civil War What are the rosters going to be?

If Daniel Bruhl is playing Zemo, I like the idea of Iron Man working with some version of the Thunderbolts.

I could definatly seeing them use the Civil War era Thunderbolts, and eventually have them become the primary antagonists.

That's exactly the role I see Daniel Bruhl's character playing, and a way to have a "villain" without taking away from the hero vs. hero conflict. I do think it shouldn't be a large team of villains though. It would definitely have Crossbones, but as far as any others, I think it would be cool if they used Abomination. He could fulfill the role of the Thunderbolts and Ragnarok from the comic, being unleashed in the middle of a battle, probably killing someone Goliath style, and leading to a lot of people really questioning Tony and his methods. Plus it would be a cool call-back without having to spend too much time recounting The Incredible Hulk if Marvel wants to try not to reference it too much.

I don't think Hulk or Thor will be present. Ant-Man probably wont be there either but I'm trying to balance numbers here. The S.H.I.E.L.D. agents or Military are best to be there. This isn't like the comics where there were 20 heroes/villains on each side. Them around would definitely add to the stakes whether that be a final battle or not.

So even though Carol and Frank could show up, we're getting this film in Phase 3 instead of Phase 4 so both of them are gone. Doctor Strange will have yet to come out but he wasn't part of the original story and Tony will probably shoot Hulk into space like in the original story.

And please, Marvel, do the Iron Fist/Daredevil bait and switch part from the original comic. It was epic.

She wasn't that enthusiastic about it and neither was Fury. It was more about SHIELD being so corrupt at that point and Steve not backing down that forced their hand. When it comes down to it though they are Gov't and control kind of people.

I can't see Black Widow siding him though, except as a spy. This might put her and Hawkeye on different sides which could be interesting.

I don't know if we're getting any of Netflix heroes. Cox in a recent interview didn't seem like Daredevil would be a part of it.

I think I have to come to the conclusion that even tho the comics had a What side are you on campaign.....this might be loosely based on that comic and will tell an entire story based on Cap's and Iron Man's difference of opinions when it comes to peace keeping and while they are distracted...will come together later in the film to take on the real bad guys....

Don't think Coulson's SHIELD is going to be united in supporting one side or the other, if Fitz's and Simmons's takes on the Inhumans and Terrigenesis being at odds with each other is any indication. Also, Coulson may be great friends with Stark, but his ideology is more akin to Captain's, so I believe him siding with Steve to be more likely than with Tony.
