So I have seen people ask things like what are your top 5 favorite movies of all time before and things like the most overrated CBM of all time. But I was wondering what are your top 5 most underrated movies of all time? Movies you thought where good or even great with bad or ok type of reviews.

1. Amazing spider man 2- I have never been so confused in my life by reviews as I was with this movie. I fell like I saw a different movie. I fell like most of the complaints are things that where not even a problem or great blow out of perpotion.

2. IRobot- The movie got mixed reviews like a 54 RT score and I felt like it was a great movie and easily the best Will smith movie and I know most people would not agree with that and say that Independence day is his best movie.

3. Jurassic park the lost world- I used to not like this movie but as time has went on I have started to like the movie more and more. Yes it is not close to the first 1 but it is still a good fun movie yet it only got a 52 score and a lot of people say the only good Jurassic park movie is 1 and from the sound of things Jurassic world sounds good.

4. Ice age 2- The only ice age movie to get good reviews was 1 but I fell like 2 is easily better and by far the best in the franchise and 1 of my favorite animated movies ever!

5. Iron Giant- You don't hear a lot of talk about this movie and it didn't make a lot of money back when it came out but it I a great animated movie that gets over looked a lot.

Hanna
Pan's Labyrinth
Dredd
Artificial Intelligence
Idiocracy

Mannequin Two: On The Move

After.Life, 26% on rotten tomatoes but actually a solid and well-reseached film.

Interstellar, Noah, Theory of Everything, Wolf of Wall Street, all scored below 80% on RT, all are in fact excellent and creative.

Of recent blocobusters, Oblivion, Tron Legacy, John Carter, and Battleship all deserve passing grades, and in the case of JC, a great grade.

Underrated CBMs: 300, Watchmen, Blade 2, The Hulk, underrated relative to other CBMs.

I loved Noah. I purposefully forgot that it was based on a Bible story and just enjoyed a beautifully shot and acted film.

I loved it too, but also because of its boblical scholarship.

I am an atheist now, but i have an orthodox jewish background, i aporeciated that aronofsky had read the bible in detail and thought about it on a deep level.

Noah still got pretty strong reviews though.

#1 Superman Returns
#2 Oblivion
#3 Watchmen
#4
#5

Let me ponder this a bit. "

Prince of Egypt (easily among the best DreamWorks movies and Bible films), The Rocketeer, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, John Carter, Watchmen and Interstellar.

There are probably other films i'm forgetting, but for now this is my list.

I haven't got 5
But, my top underrated movie has to be: Bicentennial Man

It's utterly brilliant. And the music...

Not sure if I have a top5, but I would put Spider-Man 3 up there. It has flaws, and it's the weakest Raimi movie, but I still enjoy it a lot. I feel like parts of it really works well, and while it has problems, they aren't big enough to completely derail the movie for me. Sure, a few silly scenes with Emo Peter might not be the best of the franchise, but overall I like some of the arcs the characters have over the movies. Harry's arc and finally becoming the villain is nice, the end battle at the skyscraper is probably my favorite action set piece out of the Raimi films, and it has that great build-up, where everything feels like it has been building up to it. Even the part with Harry showing up, I really like.

A movie with problems, but I still think it's mostly great. Script-wise it's still more consistent and cohesive than the TASM movies.

I don't think Prince of Egypt and Rocketeer are underrated.

Lucky Number Slevin
A very cool film with a well written script and great actors.

Jurassic Park 3
Obviously this film doesn't come close to the original, but I enjoyed it a lot when I was younger. I can still watch it now and have a lot of fun with it, despite its flaws.

Listed in no particular order:

1) The Watchmen

2) Friday The 13th Part 5: A New Beginning

3) A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge

4) Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

5) Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3

(I know, most of them are horror movies, but I love the genre and find that many of its movies get an undeserved bad rep)

Watchmen
Weekend at Bernies
Clue
futuresport
Hulk
Hellboy 2

Love them and so does everyone else hence, 'not underrated'.

I don't see them being reembered by many though, and even in site like Rotten Tomattoes they stand with scores in the 60s and 70s %.
