What's your top 5 movies of the summer so far?

Well...the summer movie season is almost over. Can't think of any other big movies besides that Will Ferrell movie next week. But I gotta say....I think this summer was pretty lackluster.

Here's my top 5.

1. Pirates 2
2. Mission Impossible 3
3. Superman Returns
4. Clerks 2
5. X3

Say what you want about Pirates and MI3....but they were my guilty pleasure movies of the summer. True summer movies. Too bad MI3 didn't do as well as expected. And yeah...X3 could have made Pirates money I think....if they hadn't half assed it. Stupid Fox.

These are the only ones worth watching.
World Trade Center will probably be the Fifth when I see it.

Unless you count the DVD, or you just want it to be there because it's good(I like the second reason).

I totally agree. Every movie I was hyped for let me down a little. That hasn't happened to me in years. lol. Definitely right about next year. If that doesn't bring back the Box office....I don't know what will.

Movie of the year so far imo.

As for the summer 'events' ............ X3 was entertaining ... MI3 was fun but flawed .... Superman was poor.

Tom is a very good actor, and I'm not letting his personal life get in the way of me enjoying a good movie.
