I took my girlfriend to see Iron Man opening day and she loved it, we've seen it 4 times together, which is great.

My wife who I've taken to 95% of marvel movies exagerated eye roll and all admitted that Iron Man was the best comic book movie she's seen. She really enjoyed the film.

Yeah, of course most chicks will like this one. It's not as dreary as TDK, and the womanizing Stark's subtle relationship with the fiery Pepper has the womyn all, "awwww." Not to mention the smarmy humor.

You are right, im a girl, and i went all "awwwwwww" through out the movie, thing that didnt happen with TDK. I mean they were so freaking cute... gotta love their fluffy-filth.

i heard the "awwes" in the theater of the "Proof Tony Star Has A Heart" moment...and my gf loved it...and a hot co-workert: said she loved Downey's Stark persona...so...I assume since this movie did so well it was definitely evenly split....

Now...TDK...sure...not a whole lot of romance there to care about...since the film was so dark...but...every girl...every woman in my life for that matter including my mom, my sister, my gf, my friends gf's (he juggles a few) my co-worker (loved it more than her picky boyfriend)...absolutely loved it and for different reasons than Iron Man.

In my opinion...you do a superhero movie right...and people of all kinds will embrace it...man, woman, race, or religion.
