DC just needs to get the characters right for the general public, primarily Superman. The rest will sort itself out.

They need to get more than Superman right.
They've been coasting off the success of Batman for years, they can absolutely get by without Superman. Especially when audiences haven't been given a good reason to be hardcore fans (of the films).
I think they just need to get there path right and focused. I rewatched suicide squad and i still love the characters but the story was non existent and the third act was terrible. MOS AND BVS were good first steps going forward. I have plenty of hope.
As long as Kevin Tsujihara is the CEO of WB things will likely never change & BVS a good first step lol it was the first bad one with SS being the second bad one. Only time will tell if Wonder Woman is the third bad one & BVS & SS made what they made because the only smart decisions WB made were opening these World Wide same day. Take that away & open BVS two weeks early Internationally it bombs Domestically no question leading to SS likely never being made & they go in a "Different Direction" Civil War would have easily beat BVS had the WB never changed the original Release Date as well
personly Ive liked overall what WB has done since MOS kicked this off. If you didnt thats cool because Im clearly not going to change your mind. Ive met far more people who enjoyed BVS and had fun with SS
Only Superhero Movies Im supporting / seeing in theaters this year are GOTG 2 & Thor 3 the rest Im in no rush with seeing. Im seeing plenty of other movies as is this year like ever year & I will sacrifice the other questionable superhero movies no problem

DC already has its built-in ace in the hole; the multi-verse. Their biggest event to this day is CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, which conveniently, served as a soft reboot of all the universes and start fresh again.Making the movie Superman even half as charming as the TV Superman would go a long way to solving Superman's movie image, though I'm not really sure how to do this with the current movie Superman. Going from dour and reluctant to bright and bold may not be possible anymore without a total reboot of the DCEU.

The Flash tv series has already been exploring the multiverse (to great effect), it's prime to be utilized on film one day. Right around JL2 or JL3, once the rest of their main line-up is established. This way they can tweak all the properties accordingly to what's been working. Some (like Supes) will require more adjustments, but if they plan early enough, it can be executed brilliantly within the context of a literal world-changing event.
I'll take Kevin T. over the last guy who wanted to make Batman and Superman solo films forever and thought a shared universe was a dumb idea
They need to make good movies, period. They now have one mediocre movie (MoS) and two awful movies (SS, BvS). They're also in denial or claiming to be in denial as to how bad these movies are.
Is it safe saying that as long as Kevin Tsujihara is the CEO of WB they will never make good DCEU movies ? If Ben Afflecks ends up quitting they will just fast track Sirens & Deadshot & SS 2 Kevin Tsujihara is the problem here. But as long as long as Kevin Tsujihara is the CEO of WB things will never change as far as I am concerned. I honestly can not decide who is the worst CEO Kevin Tsujihara or Tom Rothman
I don't know how much of these problems are due to Tsujihara. This ship was in motion before he took command of the port.
There's nothing wrong with making movies about Sirens and SS2. The concept of these movies is completely fine. What's wrong has been and likely continues to be the implementation.
The situation here is no different than whats going on at Sony & Tom Rothman its all starts at the top
But the situation was started by the previous top was it not?
I don't know. I doubt a COIE-type movie will happen. The WB don't seem like the kind of people to plan something this big and come up with a satisfactory product.
