The infamous Quagmire rant.

Speaking as one of them, it's not so much hating Brian himself, as he's just a cartoon dog, but more of the kind of real-life person he represents. And the fact that this character has, until now, served as the unchallenged "conscience and reason character" of the show up until this point is what grinds my gears.

Brian went from being the most likable character into the mouth-piece for MacFarlane & Co's politics. Thus making him (and the people making the series) a *****ebag for literally stopping everything cold 100% to shove their point-of-view down our throats. At the expense of the show's quality no less. No thanks.

Coming from Quagmire a little bit of it was hypocritical. He constantly pines on Lois, has been show to have numerous children he doesn't help raise. But the rest of it was spot on.

Plus he's a pederast, an implied rapist, into incest, etc.

The point is, that brilliant speech could have come from any character, so it didn't matter (if I was the writer I would have used Cleveland, Joe, Bonnie or Chris). Seth just happened to use Quagmire to voice what real people generally think about the type of person Brian has come to represent.

The Something, Something, Something, Darkside Trailer is great! Though I wish if we were going to make fun of Star Wars they'd go to the prequels and just slam it.

They're all owned by Fox, it's kind of a sacred cow amongst Seth and the crew. If they do, Lucas will probably check it out first like he did with these movies.

Farley didn't fall down a hill in Tommy Boy, it was Black Sheep.

But then they redeemed the show by the Airplane reference.

Well, to be fair, it's easy to get 'em confused. They're basically the same movie. :o

These last two episodes have been great with lots of laughs in each. I got a kick out of that DC Sniper joke.

Pretty good show tonight.

Couldn't stop laughing at the Peta/Peter thing.

Good Family Guy tonight. But American Dad was better.

I loved the Peter/PETA gag and Stewie's line in the middle of it: "Are we really doing this?"

FOX doesn't own one piece of Star Wars. They passed on that when they thought it would bomb. Its all Lucas ownership, FOX just put the first six in theaters thats why that clone wars cartoon went to WB cus Lucas can do whatever he wants. FOX has no say on anything Seth says about Star Wars only Lucas.

Basically in other words, the Star Wars films were merely distrubted by Fox rather than producing (that was the job of LucasFilm) them outright.

I'm sure they were cleared by Lucasfilm before making the Star Wars movie. They would have been sued out of the ass right now if they didn't.

Yeah i watched it last night. Laughed so hard. There were a lot more F-bombs than I expected, LOL. Some parts were a little meh, but it was really, really good on the whole.

Not quite as good as Blue Harvest. I think they directly copied ESB a little too much. The shot for shot remake of the old Juicy Fruit commercial was amusing.
