Chapter 7 – The Training is the Hardest Part

“Nope, nothing” declares adhokk7 to BizarroAids. “I can’t do this at will. It’s always just kind of happened.”

“Because you have yet to associate it with your instincts” replies BizarroAids, circling around adhokk7 in a large, baron room. He has a long bow in his hands. Spider-Man Luvr28 watches from the corner.

“How am I going to do that?” asks adhokk7.

BizarroAids suddenly stops and whips adhokk7 in the back with the bow. Adhokk7 falls to his knees and grabs his back.

“What the hell was that?” asks adhokk7, both anger and confusion in his voice. Instead of an answer, he gets another blow, this time to left triceps

“Relax your mind” orders BizarroAids.

“Easy for you to say” replies adhokk7, who gets wacked in the side right afterward.

“Focus your mind on what’s next, and maybe you’ll dodge a few blows” says BizarroAids.

“All I’m learning is how much I want to kick” says adhokk7 before he is stopped by another blow to the leg by BizarroAids. Spider-Man Luvr28 watches the flurry of blows. She does not look forward to her training.

Elsewhere…

KenshinAtrain sits on the floor in his room essentially alone except for the imaginary figure of Spider-Fan seated opposite him. KenshinAtrain is unsure of whether to go through with this training due to the disease he was diagnosed with.

“You don’t understand the power you wield, Kenshin” declares Spider-Fan. “Of the three of you, you are by far the most powerful.”

“I am?” asks KenshinAtrain.

“Think of yourself as a nuclear bomb of psychic energy” replies Spider-Fan. “Whether you know it or not, you’ve built up a lot of power from travelling with your friends.”

“What exactly does it do?” asks KenshinAtrain.

“Explanation is not effective as experience” answers Spider-Fan. With that comment, Spider-Fan closes his eyes, and he remains silent. KenshinAtrain looks around the room. Things around him begin to change. The room becomes brighter, and almost impossible to see in. The bed on the far side of the wall suddenly begins to morph. The form of a dragon takes shape. KenshinAtrain stands up. The dragon shoots fire at KenshinAtrain, whom dives to the right, dodging the flame barely. The dragon takes a deep breath and is about to do it again.

“Use your power Kenshin” orders Spider-Fan. The flames jet toward KenshinAtrain. He closes his eyes, and instinctively throws his arms forward. Upon opening his eyes, he sees the flames seemingly going around him. The dragon prepares to blast KenshinAtrain again. KenshinAtrain throws his arms forward as hard as he can like he had just done, and a blast jets forward, which reduces the dragon to ashes. The room begins to return to normalcy.

“Well done” says Spider-Fan. “Perhaps there is hope yet.”

KenshinAtrain, still running on adrenaline, can’t help but smile to himself. He suddenly gets a wave of vertigo, almost forcing him to the ground. Spider-Fan notices.

“We’ll stop there for now” says Spider-Fan. “For now, rest.”

Elsewhere…

Spider-Man Luvr 28 awaits in the center of the training room.Adhokk7 can be heard moaning in pain from the corner. His training didn’t go well. BizarroAids waits impatiently. Suddenly, Spider-Fan enters the room.

“Sorry I’m late” says Spider-Fan apologetically.

“We can now get started” proclaims BizarroAids. Spider-Fan closes his eyes. The room begins to morph around Spider-Man Luvr28. Walls are created out of nowhere, the roof opens up, and the room seemingly gets bigger. The room has become a maze, and Spider-Man Luvr28 is clueless on where to go next.

“Use your feelings, and they will guide you out” echoes the voice of BizarroAids, whom can’t be seen.

“Okay” says Spider-Man Luvr28 to herself. She heads down the path in front of her, takes a series of lefts and rights. They seem to be going nowhere. She begins to doubt herself. As her doubt sets in, she begins to second guess herself. She comes to a dead end, and decides she is hopelessly lost. She leans against the wall of the dead end, giving up.

The room returns to normal, and the disappointed face of BizarroAids can be seen.

“That will be all for today” declares BizarroAids as he sends them away. Spider-Man Luvr28 goes over to adhokk7, and helps walk him out. BizarroAids and Spider-Fan are left in the room.
“Time is short, and this went poorly” says BizarroAids with worry in his voice.

“All is not lost” says Spider-Fan. “The sick one has made great progress today. We still have hope.”

“Perhaps” says BizarroAids. “I’m going to clear my head for a while.”

“Good idea” says Spider-Fan. BizarroAids leaves the room.

Elsewhere…

Two-Face is standing alone in an alley. Nerves are creeping in, and he keeps looking in all directions. A shadowy figure approaches.

“That you?” asks Two-Face. The shadowy figure approaches until the figure of BizarroAids can be seen.

“Indeed it is” says BizarroAids. “Time is short, what do you have?”

“Something big is going down tomorrow” says Two-Face. “I’m not sure what it is. Rando has been mum on details.”

“What about the identity of citizen930?” asks BizarroAids.

“Rando doesn’t know” says Two-Face. “Only the man he talks to does.”

“Do you know who this man is?” asks BizarroAids.

“I didn’t get a good look at him” says Two-Face.

“You’re not giving me much here” says BizarroAids.

“It’s all I’ve got” says Two-Face.

“Well, hang in there and keep your ears open” says BizarroAids.

“Will do” replies Two-Face as he heads back to the hideout.

Elsewhere…

Two-Face enters the hideout. Rando takes note.

“Where have you been?” asks Rando.

“Got bored” replies Two-Face. “We have nothing to do.”

“Tomorrow, we will” replies Rando. “Don’t you worry.”

Elsewhere…

Adhokk7 tosses and turns in bed. He is sweaty. He wakes up all of a sudden. He runs out of his room, where he runs into Spider-Fan. He can see the worry in his eyes.

“What’s wrong?” asks Spider-Fan.

“I just had a vision” says adhokk7.

“Of what?” asks Spider-Fan.

“There’s a traitor among us” says adhokk7.

A traitor you say? Who?

1- BizarroAids
2- I Am the Knight

You choose where all this goes in Chapter 8 – Tomorrow!
 
My vote: I am the knight. (Just to be troublesome.)
 
I think we can go ahead and call it: I Am the Knight is the traitor.
 
We have a majority, so Biz wins!!!

I've decided that this shall be a 13 Chapter season...so, 6 MORE LEFT!!!

These will bang out much more quickly after next week, when school is out! Trust me, I hated delaying Chapter 7 like I did.

My time has been viciously occupied because I've been moving, so I'm glad to see I didn't miss the next chapter, although I am saddened by the tremendous amount of voter fraud that has occurred in my absence. :cwink:

LOL...I have finals this week, hence why I haven't got to the new chapter yet. Fridayish I'd say expect it.

TWO ANNOUNCEMENTS!!!

1- From now on, I will be both making a post for the new chapters and putting them in the first post of the thread. This will make it easier for people clicking on my sig to see the new chapter, and I'd like to thank our new participant Logan's Lady for this idea. Ingenius :up:

2- I've had fun with this and will be doing another hype interactive adventure once this is complete. It is going to be bigger than this story and require more posters. It shall be:

Chapter 8 – Tomorrow

“BizarroAids is the traitor” declares adhokk7 to Spider-Fan.

“This is a serious accusation, adhokk7” says Spider-Fan. “Are you sure?”

“Positive” replies adhokk7.

“Things are worse than I feared” says Spider-Fan. “Here’s what we’re going to do. We’re going to keep this to ourselves for now. If Bizarro suspects anything, we’re in trouble.”

“Why do we have to wait?” asks adhokk7. “Let’s get him now. Time is short.”

“This is a delicate matter” replies Spider-Fan. “Besides, Bizarro is not here at the moment.”

“He’s probably out plotting against us” declares adhokk7.

“That very well may be true, but we stay the course” says Spider-Fan. “Agreed?”

“Alright” says adhokk7.

Spider-Fan gives adhokk7 an approving nod, and then continues down the dark hallway. Adhokk7 stands there for several seconds. He made a promise to Spider-Fan, but can’t help feeling he should do something more with the knowledge he has just gathered.

Tomorrow…

The swirling of BizarroAids’ staff onto adhokk7’s flesh is nothing new to adhokk7. Each blow should be crushing like they were yesterday, but adhokk7 can’t feel the blows, nor has motivation to avoid them. He is just taking it. BizarroAids throws down his staff in frustration.

“Do you like pain!” yells BizarroAids. “Why do you take it? Do you not want to save time?”

“Do you” says adhokk7, under his breath. Spider-Fan’s eyes get big from across the room. Spider-Man Luvr28 takes note from across the room.

“What was that?” asks BizarroAids.

“Nothing” says adhokk7, noticing Spider-Fan’s expression.

“No, speak your mind” says BizarroAids, annoyance in his voice.

“I’m sure it was nothing Bizarro” chimes in Spider-Fan.
“I had a dream” begins adhokk7. Everyone focuses their attention on him. “In it, I saw a traitor.” Adhokk7 stands up and moves closer toward BizarroAids. “It was you.” Shocked expressions can be seen on Spider-Man Luvr28 and BizarroAids.

“Me?” asks BizarroAids. “There is no time for jokes.”

“This is no joke” replies adhokk7.

“Are you sure?” asks Spider-Man Luvr28. “I’ve felt no bad vibes from him.”

“I know what I saw” replies adhokk7. “What do you have to say for yourself?” he asks BizarroAids accusingly. BizarroAids looks at Spider-Fan.

“Do you believe this?” he asks Spider-Fan.

“He is a psychic,” replies Spider-Fan.

“This is funny,” says BizarroAids. “You all are willing to put blind faith in this new comer?”

“New comer who was chosen to help stop this,” points out adhokk7.

Outside…

Outside the gates of BizarroAids’ Fortress, Guards are keeping watch. Things are slow today. Suddenly a figure starts coming into view.

“Halt!” yells one of the guards. “State your business.” DRUMM3RBOY comes into plain view. The shadow of 3 others start coming forward also.

“We’re here to crash the party” says DRUMM3RBOY.

Back inside…

“What’s the plan Bizarro?” asks Spider-Fan.

“That’s what I’ve been trying to figure out” replies BizarroAids. “I have a man on the inside who’s been trying to get me information.”

“Look, Bizarro, this is not easy for me” says Spider-Fan. As they talk, Spider-Man Luvr28 gets an uneasy feeling. She looks behind herself. The feeling is getting worse. Adhokk7 notices.

“What’s wrong?” asks adhokk7. Spider-Fan and BizarroAids both turn their attention to her.

“Someone’s here” replies Spider-Man Luvr28.

Things are about to get heavy for our young group. Which brings us to this question:

Will the mastermind reveal himself in the coming siege?
