also, kinda funny is all the "Depp will play Joker" rumors now, just because he is linked to Burton [is why I find it funny]

come to think of it..What if Burton had Depp play the Joker in Batman 89? hahaha he wouldve had to take a break from 21 jump street. (although 89 may have been even before that, point is Depp was too young for either part anyhow!)

I'm Johnny Depp's biggest straight male fan. That said, I can't see him in any Batman movie.
I remember when they were talking about the reboot back before Batman Begins and there were some Depp manips. They were pretty horrible.

You know, I hardly ever paid any attention to Depp's work before the first Pirates of the Caribbean. Even after that, I felt no real desire to watch something like his remake of Chocolate Factory.

I thought it was interesting that Bale is playing a cop trying to take down Depp as a murderer, and if the Riddler rumours do end up being true, then Depp may well play a cop trying to take down Bale as a murderer.

I wouldn't say ''Highly Over-rated''... as much as a simple product of success. Money talks in Hollywood and right now Johnny Depp is were all the gossip is at.

However... that has never stopped him from being a stunning actor that never ceases to amaze me. Perhaps a little less commercial work in the future could tip the balance.

But yeah... I don't see him in a Batman movie in the near future, let alone as Batman himself.

He is highly overrated, are you serious? Captain Jack Sparrow is not that good of a performance from him, Neither is Willy Wonka, now Sweeney Todd on the other hand is one of his best performances in years.
