What Is the WORST Video Game Movie?

Mario Bros is eat a pizza and watch on the syfy channel quality. Chun Li I only liked because of Kristin Kreuk.

Dead or alive was a real shocker. I saw that with a straight friend while I was still in the closet. Imagine how bad that would be!

When I think worst I think little that is redeemable. MK Annihilation had fun fight scenes . The first Silent Hill got the atmosphere and music right. The worst has gotta be a Uwe Boll movie.

Did you actually think MK Annihilation had good fight scenes? Because I thought they were atrocious. Maybe they're good in a Dolemite sort of way (so awful they're hilarious) but that's it. I was watching some clips from it last night because it had been so long and good God, that movie is somehow even WORSE than I remembered. Cyrax looked like Powers Ranger cosplay.

House of the dead was school project quality. MK2 was flat out rushed in every aspect. Ive got DOA on dvd. I don't know how thats ended up in my collection . Ive got a soft spot for Street fighter though.

Oh my god, I totally forgot they made a Tekken movie. My mom was a huge fan of that game and made me see it with her, I don’t remember a single thing

I haven’t had the nerve to watch the live action Tekken movie yet after all these years. I don’t think my heart can take it.

For you guys, I recommend; A Man Named X: Tekken 2, Kazuya's Revenge.
I will apologize for suggesting such abominable garbage after you torment yourselves by watching that.

Did you actually think MK Annihilation had good fight scenes? Because I thought they were atrocious. Maybe they're good in a Dolemite sort of way (so awful they're hilarious) but that's it. I was watching some clips from it last night because it had been so long and good God, that movie is somehow even WORSE than I remembered. Cyrax looked like Powers Ranger cosplay.

It has one fantastic fight scene; the climax battle, all of it, starting with Raiden getting zapped to his death.

I don’t even remember that. But if it takes an entire movie to get to one good scene, it’s not worth the ride. Still, all this talk about that movie has motivated me to get together with a bunch of friends and watch it again while drinking a LOT of booze, lol.

Legend of Chun-Li. The first Street Fighter is bad, don't get me wrong. But there was at least a token effort to capture some of the ridiculousness and aesthetics of the game.

Legend of Chun-Li...I don't know who they were aiming for with that. And Kristin Kreuk had to be one of the worst miscasts I've ever seen. It couldn't possibly have been that hard to find an actress who could both deliver lines and reasonably look like she knew how to throw a kung-fu kick.

LOL yeah and they found an actress who could do NEITHER. I was shocked at how it somehow turned out worse than the original Street Fighter, and yet it somehow is so. Kreuk, Neil McDonough and Chris Klein should all be ashamed of themselves.

I actually like the first Street Fighter. It just isn't Street Fighter. It is more like a live-action version of the 80s GI Joe cartoon. But it is a fun, goofy adventure and Raul Julia is legitimately great in it.

Chun-Li wiping the floor with Bison, and hell all of Bison’s scenes in general makes Street Fighter a great bad movie.

Raul Julia you are still missed.

I think it's shame though that Street Fighter is Raul Julia's last (big screen) movie. Even though it's beloved as piece of campy fun, it's a shame that he his last role wasn't in something better.

I just looked up Uwe Boll's wikipedia page. He apparently gave up on directing despite being "the only genius in the whole f***ing [movie] business" (his words) and opened a restaurant in Vancouver. This wasn't long after a petition for him to quit the movie business reached a million signatures, lol.

I don't know, I never really followed his career that closely. All I remember about him (aside from ****ty movies) is how he kept threatening to fight people who criticized him.

Yeah House of the Dead has to be the worst one. Besides the movie just being terrible, it has random clips of gameplay of the videogame throughout the movie for no reason at all...

I've been playing a lot of King of Fighters recently, and since this is my favorite fighting game franchise, I'll have to torment you all by the thought of knowing that a movie exists.

Beside not being an adaption that takes from the source material more than names and a few lines here and there, it's a very very very badly made and boring movie.
You can call it the Metal Gear: Survive of movie adapting video games.

I've never heard of that adaptation. I think I remember the game but I never played the NEO GEO arcade games much for whatever reason.

I really hope we won't be adding Sonic to this list soon, but I'm afraid it will happen.

Even though I haven't seen but about half of them, I have to give the "worst of" crown to Uwe Boll's House of the Dead...just because I remember his promise to fight anyone who hated his movies. I'm waiting, turd-bucket. I'm. Waiting.
