What Is Your State Most Afraid Of?

Thanatophobia, or the fear of death. Pretty rational for Indiana.

I'm dubious of the honesty of the "research" in that ^ study.
Red states; fear of Blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, Gays not listed? Or does all that fall under xenophobia?

That can't be a state-wide thing. We got a few really populated cities, but claustrophobia for the rest of the state where it's basically just forests and suburbs or rural towns?

Claustrophobia? Seems odd for Florida. I would have thought fear of hurricanes or wildlife or driving or something like that.

Emetophobia. Fear of vomiting.

I live in NYC. IN A BASMENT APARTMENT. So... Claustrophobia? Eh... Makes no sense to me.

The Arizona phobia makes sense to me. People that are afraid of lighting and thunder, are in a state where rain is very rare.

I wonder if all the people that have this phobia, moved to Arizona to get away from it.
