What kind of fight scenes you would like to see in the new Spider-Man movie? Are the settings that you really want to see that haven't been in a movie yet? I was sad that we didn't see a Green Goblin fight scene at the Brooklyn Bridge in TASM2.

It would be great to see a rooftop fight scene maybe against Scorpion. That would be awesome. Also there could a epic fight scene on top of the Empire State Building or Chrysler Building against Vulture like in the first movie game:

I'd like to see Spidey show off his abilities in action though. He can do some crazy moves in the comics, I'd like to see him do some crazy stuff in the movie. Matters who the villain is IMO.

I'd like more physical fights but it's hard to say when we don't know who's the villain.

Like bapi said, it's all about who the villain is. I would like to see more strategic fights though from Peter's end. Brain over brawn.

that's the last thing on my mind. get the characters, the tone and the relationships right, then we can talk about something as trivial as action pieces and fight scenes

Toe to toe with Kraven in Central Park. I think now is the good time to incorporate some capoeira into Spider-Man's fighting style.

Unlike Batman, I think Raimi and Webb already nailed how Spidey moves and fights in live action. All that is left is to refine the CG so the digital double doesn't look fake, and.....try not to underwhelm to those standards.

I mean this with total disrespect... With these characters action is far from trivial. Glad you come to these films hoping for a conference with the burning bush, but a lot of us also want to see slam bang quality action.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be action in it. Just that it isn't as important than a lot of other stuff they have to get right. Look at the Nolan trilogy. the first two movies did lots of things right, the fight scenes were heavily critizised by a lot of us on these boards. still...TDK is considered a genre masterpiece by a lot of people.
I'm the last one to say Marvel should take the Nolan approach, in fact, I hope they will never do movies that bore the hell out of me like TDKR did, but the overall narrative of the movie, the characters and the tone should be MSs first worries and THEN focus on the action.

With all disrespect, of course

Exactly. Iron Man, Marvel's first, and one of its most acclaimed, didn't have much action.

Neither did Guardians of the Galaxy. Compared to the destruction porn of Man of Steel.

I just had a random thought, it'd be cool to see the new spidey fought with more of a Kung-fu martial arts style.

I also want to see his super strength represented a bit more. Have him crash through walls and knock people far away when he punches.

You know what I kinda want, that we never really got? A chase scene. There was never really a chase scene, and I think it could be really cool. Remember in Spectacular, where Spidey chases Goblin, and the glider goes through a building while he jumps over the top?
Imagine stuff like that in live-action. Depending on the villain, you could do a really cool chase, going up walls and flipping through tight corners.

Yes! :woot:

I thought we were gonna get one towards the end of tasm2 but it lasted for like five seconds

Peter and Harry had a chase battle scene in Spider-Man 3. :)
