So, what are the moments and plot points that you feel Captain America: Civil War needs to include to be the best it can be?

Post your personal lists and discuss below:

-Conflict between the heroes.-Registration Act or something very similar to it.
-Captain America v Iron Man

But most importantly, this film cannot forget it's a Captain America film first and foremost,

I am curious if they will ever bring back Skull... doubtful.. but curious.. they had a great oppurtunity in TWS, and didn't do it...but still, i would love to see it some day

Maybe someday, they have like a dozen ways they could bring him back. So it's not to far off. But for now I think they wanna focus on keeping the films fresh with new villains and concepts.

I think very few things are necessary. Iron Man vs. Captain America is one. Stark doing it because he thinks it's either the right thing or the least bad option is another. Steve going underground because the government is hunting them is probably a third.

But it seems there won't be a lot of the same story beats so it's hard to say much is necessary. It's easier to say what points are necessary for a faithful adaptation, but it's much harder to say what's necessary in a story that's only spiritually similar.

-Conflict at the begginning rising
-Stark doing deals with the Govt. assuring them they should pass the act
-Big break when Cap goes underground
-An 'unnecessary' death causing people to question whether Tony should be going so far
-A reassurance from someone else keeping Stark from stopping. (Mrs. Sharpe)
-Possibly other events which show that the Pro Reg team may be going far
-A final fight where Cap gives up and turns himself in, because he isn't fighting for the people anymore

And the Daredevil silver pieces scene... please. :p

Hopefully little from the comics. The comic storyline writing sucked.

General Ross using the destruction of South Africa to go after Banner again.
Focus on Captain America and NOT on Iron Man

-Cap has to be right. Even if he looses.
-Someone needs to call Tony out on being the least accountable of all.
-Cap realizing there is something to Steve Rogers outside of being Captain America.

It doesn't really have to follow much besides the core plot of the series.

- The Government needs to pass an Act designed to have superpowered characters act under some kind of official regulation

- This act should divide superpowered characters into two different camps. One that's for regulation led by Iron Man and one that's against it led by Captain America (neither side should be portrayed as unreasonable.)

- Bucky killing Tony Stark's parents should be one the reasons both have conflict with one another.

Do we know for sure that Bucky was the one who killed Tony's parents? I know they mentioned Hydra was the one that put the hit on them, but as you can see in the elevator scene in TWS, they don't always send out TWS to do the dirty work for them.

It's heavily implied in TWS.

Slightly worried it will focus on Tony and the Avengers generally. I want the Avengers involved but the film to stay focused on Cap. I get the feeling though if Cap dies, then that will be the point of this film, and maybe the film will only be a serious film and only get down to the important points and have little comedy.

I loved The Winter Soldier. It was a great political thriller. For the most part, it was a thriller movie. Cap 3 sort of looks to be that way. Seems like it will gradually evolve into a more and more serious flick.
