What position would Cap take on torture?

Erm, I think we're getting away from the essential point- what would be Cap's position on torture- I suspect that he would have no truck with it- "ticking time bomb scenario bedamned!".
The best kept secret about Captain America is that he has always been far more middle of the road politically than he is given credit for!( Tony Stark is probably more politically conservative than the shield slinger- hey, he's one of America's richest men!)
