The Avengers What Signature Moves And/Or Heroic Feats Do You Want To See Each Avenger Perform?

Not really sure about sig moves for other characters, but for Hulk would love to see:

Thunderclap, Leaps and him getting stronger the angrier he gets.

Other than that I would like to see Thor using strength without the Hammer, and Iron Man using his strength in the armour which is something we havent seen in the movies yet.

True, the most we've seen Iron Man do with his strength is catching a car in the first film and pushing a car away with his foot in Iron Man 2.

I always felt that Thor didn't really use his strength THOR because they wanted to show what he could do with Mjolnir, but IM doesn't carry a weapon so I don't know why he doesn't have more strength feats.

I want to see Cap do a dive into the battlefield from a transport without a parachute.

^^^ YES. wanted to see this in his own movie, but he used a parachute.

Without a parachute? How would he survive, he is still a human after all.

-The Warrior's Madness
-Captain America's acrobatic moves

Is it bad that I really want them to do a bas ass speed ball special....

I'm really looking forward to seeing Captain America fight several invaders single-handedly. We saw that in the set videos but it will be a lot sweeter in the finished film. I'm more interested in seeing Cap's fighting spirit and unwillingness to give up against overwhelming odds displayed than in necessarily seeing him defeat all comers. It's more impressive for someone to give their all in a fight they know they're probably going to lose than to see them easily dispatch their foes.

Hulk leaping for miles. There is a way to do it right. Just because many of the angles used in AngHulk made it look silly(to be fair, some didn't) doesn't mean you abandon it like in TIH. You just have to be smart about how you shoot it.

-The Warrior's Madness
-Captain America's acrobatic moves

YES to both of these, I'm pretty sure were going to get Cap using acrobatic moves this time but I'm uncertain about Thor going into warrior madness.

Thor using warrior's madness would be awesome and appropriate for the situation at hand, but I don't think they're gonna allow him to be insanely powerful in this film (they don't want anyone to be outshined).

Most definately :woot:

Lands on his shield

Landing on his shield won't protect Cap's bones from shattering on impact or his internal organs from being injured by the abrupt cessation of motion. Regardless of the fact that the shield absorbs vibrations, the body's internal organs will continue to move at the end of the fall. That would result in the tearing of arteries and tissues, ruptures, bruising and internal bleeding, much like the injuries sustained by car accident victims. One imagines that the end result would be extremely traumatic even for one with Captain America's enhanced physique.

lol. Well that was an in-depth answer. :p in the game he jumps out of a plane with no parachute and uses his shield to crash through a roof. And also in the ultimates he leaps out of airplanes with no chute a few times. Perhaps 616 cap cant do that

OK, maybe not parachute-height, but in the comics 616 Cap often swandives off of transports instead of fast-roping. I want to see that.

That's is pretty much what I was thinking, except not as in depth (lol).

If the shield's energy absorbing abilities wouldn't protect him there then how does he stand up to a tank shell shot at his shield(I'd imagine the impact would be at least equivalent). I know tank and field artillery canon shells can kill a person just by traveling within 20 or so feet of them(don't even have to hit them) merely via the shockwaves in the air as the shell passes at supersonic speed.

Wow are you serious? I never knew that, that's some pretty cool stuff.

That's what my little brother told me after his stint in the army and I have no reason to doubt him. Now if you're in a armored vehicle then you're protected from that force. You only need worry about actually getting hit.

It'd be cool to see Hulk save someone by holding up a falling building.

I just want to see (at the moment) on how it'll look to see Captain America and Thor with their different fighting styles, working alongside each other effectively in that scene that we saw shot in a city a few months back since the choreography in that scene from what we've seen seems to be pretty great.

its all possible considering this is a comic book movie, about comic books characters. :p So if the filmmakers want him to leap out of a plane with no chute or deflect a tank shell, he can. lol

Basically what everybody already said, but I'd also like to see an inventive way of combining everyone's powers, or at least a few. We all pretty much know what the basics of each Avenger are, but to see them working together is something I'm looking forward the most.

Yeah, I had holding up a falling building as one of the things I want to see Hulk do in the very first post of this thread.

I want to see Thor catch/slow down a falling helicarrier, even though Hulk's the "strong guy" it makes more sense for Thor (the 2nd strongest) to do it since he can fly.

If the enemy army has some type of aircraft, there MUST be a shot of Thor destroying it by a hammer throw.
