The Avengers What Signature Moves And/Or Heroic Feats Do You Want To See Each Avenger Perform?

On the whole subject of Cap jumping with no Chute. I say yes.
Yeah he's "only" human, but he represents the absolute pinnacle of what the human body can achieve/take.
There are stories out there (and granted, they are probably just that) of humans falling from great heights such as a plane or building and suffering no more than maybe some scratches or bruising.
So I say yes to the leap. For two reasons. I'll suspend my disbelief because 1) I've seen it done numerous times in the comics,
And 2) it's a movie. (and of the comic book variety I might add)

And one thing I don't think I've seen mentioned I'd love to see in this flick is Thor's God Blast.
If this "Leviathan" thing pans out, it'd be cool to see Thor have to pull out all the stops and use his power to such an extent where use of his own life force is necessary to
take it down.

If the enemy army has some type of aircraft, there MUST be a shot of Thor destroying it by a hammer throw.

Yes, it would be even better if he uses a lightning charged hammer throw instead of a regular one (he didn't use any of those in THOR).

Or a lightning blast! Like MUA

Of course, he could do both of them because I'm sure there's not gonna be just one enemy aircaft.

I agree with this.

A question though to anyone. Because of the inherent properties of the shield, if CAP falls from a great height, with his shield strapped to his back, and he lands with ground contact via the shield, should it absorb all the impact of the fall and thus CAP would feel nothing?

Theoretically, yeah. And that would be awesome to see.

Hell, I'd like to see Cap do *this* with his shield:

I want Captain America to do his Final Justice move on Loki.

I agree, it would love for Thor to use his God blast during the final battle of this film although I would rather see him use it to destroy a huge portion of Loki's army than to defeat the Leviathan.

Something tells me they wont be battling and killing HUGE ammounts of aliens. I'm sure they will fight plenty of em but i dont think we should get our hopes up TOO much.

No one likes a debbie downer now...:woot:

I think we well, they'll probably be atleast a few thousand soldiers in Loki's army.

Dear God i hope so. But i also wanted an amazing fight between thor and the destroyer

I did too, but unlike most Thor fans I wasn't suprised by the short fight one bit.

Me either, i was just hoping itd be longer when we first heard the destroyer would be in it. It worked in the context of the movie though. It was a great moment for thor.

Yeah, hopefully Thor get's an extended fight scene with this guy in THOR 2

True, the most we've seen Iron Man do with his strength is catching a car in the first film and pushing a car away with his foot in Iron Man 2.

I always felt that Thor didn't really use his strength THOR because they wanted to show what he could do with Mjolnir, but IM doesn't carry a weapon so I don't know why he doesn't have more strength feats.

Yeah, we never really saw a good feat of strength from either of them in thier movies, I was at least expecting one in IM2. Thor shows glimpses of his strength, he kicks a Frost Giant that goes flying on Jotunheim, but a genuine show of how strong he is we didnt get.

So I hope we get both doing at least some heavy lifting at some point in the movie.

Volstaag lifts up a car in a deleted scene. Hopefully thor can also do at least that.

Exactly, we already know Hulk is going to get some awesome strength feats in this but I just hope they give both Thor & Iron Man a good showing of strength as well.

^Yeah same, as a Hulk fan I obviously wish he gets the best show of strength, but it would be nice to see what Thor and Iron Man are capable of strength wise. I mean Ghost Rider had a pretty decent showing of strength in his movie when he reeled in the helicopter, I was very surprised Thor and the IM movies couldnt show something like that in them.

My favorite strength feat from Iron Man was in the first movie where he punches that guy as soon as he lands. Ain't no question that dude was dead.:awesome:

Yeah, mine too. That whole sequence was top notch.

I wanna see Hulk beat Thor. That seems to be his "signiture move."

Heyooooo! :woot:

^^^ In cartoons and animated films, but in the comics *wait for it*...they actually beat EACH other.

*gasp*

I wanna see Hulks strength increase with his rage.

Hulk only beat the crap out of Thor in Hulk vs film. The other animated fights have not been so one sided

I put no stock in Marvel's animated features thus far.
(well except for A:EMH, that's actually been fairly well representative of the comics)
The Hulk vs. Movies were enjoyable, but I kept scratching my head as to why it seemed like Wolverine almost seemed to be able to withstand Hulk better than Thor.
And the Ultimate Avengers cartoon lost me when Hulk was able to "overpower" the enchantment on Thor's hammer.
Also, the Black Panthers somehow morphing their heads into cats.
A true Hulk vs Thor fight should be an epic see-saw battle. I'd love to see this represented in the films. Regardless of who "wins", you should be able to say, "wow, Thor/Hulk won, bur that coulda gone either way"
And no one besides Thor, Odin and Cap should be able to budge Mjolnir.
