Looking for some theaters here in Chicago, X-men 3 seems to be only on 1 screen with like 5 showings in the day...Is this just early show times are are AMC and Lowes serious??

You should go see it at the Century 12 theatre in Evanston. Its a nice theatre.....

And they might add more showings on more screens as it gets closer to Friday.

sorry, don't live in Chicago.
But in the Norfolk area, there's only one really good theater.
And that's in Virginia Beach, and it's 12 miles away from my house(30 minute trip).
The earliest they have is 11:00, which is when i'm gonna see it.

Hmmm...I don't know about how other theaters work, but sometimes, a theater will reserve a couple showings on one screen available for solely advance day tickets. Then, on the day of release or just before, more showings will be available for purchase. They have to limit how many shows they can squeeze in for advance tickets before the weekend...
