Frankly I'm wondering when they're going to release the following on blu-ray:

The Prince of Egypt
Star Wars OT
Indiana Jones Trilogy
Hot Fuzz
Lord of the Rings

Star Wars and LOTR, definitely. Also waiting for Back to the Future.

Scarface, pulp fiction, Gladiator, The Program, and i agree about all 6 Star Wars films

Alien
Aliens
Dead Man's Shoes
Shaun Of The Dead
Braveheart
Empire Of The Sun
Platoon
JFK
Saving Private Ryan
Gladiator

There are loads more I am waiting for but the ones I have listed are some of my favourites.

I dont have blu-ray, but i'll admit that the day that the Star Wars saga, the first 3 Indy movies and the 3 LOTR come out, i'll really consider getting it.

Star Wars
LOTR
Back to the Future
Jurassic Park
Every Pixar movie (as someone said above)

I think LOTR is set to come on this year. Although I remember reading it would only be the theatrical editions first, which makes me a sad panda.

Of course

Star Wars *all of them*
Indiana Jones trilogy
LOTR
Alien Quadrilogy
Good versions of the Terminator Trilogy
Ghostbusters

Many more that I can't think of right now.

Really? If that's the case, then I'm not getting them until they release the extended editions. I refuse to go back to watching the theatrical cuts. :cwink:

I want Star Wars on Blu Ray NOW! I'll even re-buy the prequels, I just want to watch them all in Blu Ray.

whats wrong with the current blu rays of those, i havent seen them, is it a bad transfer(quality) or do they have zero bonus features, etc.

I think it's the picture quality. They are doing a new version of T2, so hopefully the pic quality on that one will be substantially better than the current release.

Now the titles I'm waiting for would be the following:

Lord of the Rings
Star Wars (Prequels and Originals)
The Prince of Egypt
All Pixar films
Gladiator
Jurassic Park Trilogy
Back to the Future Trilogy
Minority Report
War of the Worlds
Indiana Jones Trilogy
Deep Rising

T1 has a horrible transfer, the DVD is even better then the Blu-ray version of it.
T2: Not bad, but not good transfer. It is only the Theatrical release as well. Which I prefer the Special Edition.
T3: the best of all the transfers, but still could be better.

And all three of them need TONS of features. So far they are bare bones, and horrible for extras.

With TS ramping up I hope they decide to re-release all of them on Blu-Ray with tons of special features and real good transfers.

How good does a real good transfer have to be if the will eventually get re-released a thousand time over and over again?

I am buying none for a blue ray player costs 400 dollars when i can buy me 2 regular dvd players and guess what there still making regular dvds with great sound quality so i am gonna but regular everything for now.

word of advice ^^ you shouldnt be buying two dvd players for $200 a piece, thats just crazy

The One ..still waiting for the extended version which can only be seen on FX lol

Lord of the Rings trilogy
Star Wars saga
Seven
Frankenstein
Bride of Frankenstein
Dusk till Dawn
The Incredibles
Forrest Gump
Hero

Minority Report
Gojira
The Crow
Fight Club
Gladiator
Heat
The Score

Armagedon and Fight Club plus all the other movies that people said.

I believe Armageddon was just announced{or was rumored}.

yeah, i'm not into the blu-ray fever as of yet. don't have the money nor the patience right now. It does suck that some movies are getting either less than stellar transfers or bare bones editions. I mean, if you want to convince the public to go blu-ray, please do a good job then.
