What titles are you waiting to come on Blu-Ray?

Well, they did the same thing with DVD when it first came along.

Fight Club didn't come out yet, did it? If so, I'll be first in line.

I'm ashamed to admit it...but I almost never buy Blu-Ray. I still buy DVD's for the most part. :)

I kinda agree with Octoberist.

People use that argument and it never works. The industry was different back then, and consumers saw DVDs as a new hobby of sorts.

I'm not against Blu-Ray at all. But I think of it as a luxury for the time being. However, I'm going to invest into Blu-Ray, then give me the best transfer with all of the features left in tact since I'm paying more for it.

For example, I would love to buy Fight Club on Blu-ray, but don't give me a barebones edition. it seems like certain movies are getting that sort of treatment.

The thing is I would say that is hard for one to determine that does not have Blu-ray.

I at first did not care. But when I got my new Samsun 61 inch LED lit DLP 1080P that is when I changed my mind. The difference is incredible. Putting a DVD of TDK compared to the Blu-Ray itself shows the vast difference.

Even though they are not adding "tons" more yet. They are doing so. And to me the transfer's alone of like Blade Runner, are jaw dropping.

Let The Right One In.

The Star Wars Saga
The Crow
The Jurassic Park Trilogy

Yeah, with Warner Bros, they're doing a good job with their movies, like Blade Runner, and I love their digi-books too.

I saw a movie at Best Buy once, and I saw the difference between Iron Man on both formats and it's amazing.

However, the Iron Man on blu-ray was moving way too fast; less 24 frames per second and more like 30. Is that normal? Can you adjust it?

I don't think so. I own Iron Man on blu and it never seemed off to me. There is a problem with some Plasma and LCD's where the motion seems funky, they call it something but I forgot what.

My TV has some kind of anti-what ever thing lol, that does not give the motion of the picture that odd unnatural look.

Titanic
Independence Day
War of the Worlds
Saving Private Ryan

One that I would like to see a great "Special Edition" done with is a movie that never got respect even in the DVD era.

And that is "The Abyss" SE of course.

I just always was pissed that it had such bare bone features, and never the best transfers. The Abyss SE was such a great film. I really wish they would have a BD version of it with extras. And a good transfer.
