What type of show do you think Heroes is like. Is it like Lost or 24. I don't think its like 24, in the sense that you have major cast dying all the time.

I can't see Hiro,Claire and Peter dying. Also Sylar, HRG, and Mohinder and Matt/Nikki/Nathan dying as well.

Heroes does have a darkside. The fact that some of them have killed is unusual for NBC. HRG killing Thompson and atempting to kill Claude does take a little getting used to. Mind you Thompson and Linderman had it coming. Isacc killing simone because of Peter was jaring.

So in your oppinion what type of genre are we getting. Feel good or Dark.
I think its a cross between Smallville and 24. You have storyline arc for one season with a bit of darkenss.

i say dark and here is my philosophical answer why.

Heroes is a story of inner struggle the fight within each person has been about doing whats write and whats wrong. It may be as easy as dissapointing ur parents or letting ur brother blow up to so you can become president. Sylar even had some good in him when he went to his mother for a form of confesion saying, "Can't i just be a normal watch maker and not some1 special" or something along those lines. but i think the inner struggle of man or woman is very dark always. like your inner conscience telling you to choose between good or evil.

i just pulled all that out of my ass but i think it sounds pretty good

It's dark... it's not VERY dark like 24, but I can't really think of any true 'feelgood' moments in Heroes... everything is always tenuous and subdued... there's a tenseness and even the happy scenes when families are reunited and people come out of an ordeal alive, these are treated like temporary respites rather than happy endings...

"Dark but not too dark... more like subdued."
